Playing some great stuff, scored some class goals and take a 4-0 lead into half-time, could easily have been 2/3 more. And England missed a penalty.
Very nice gesture by an England player after scoring the opener, running straight over to under pressure manager.
Men's team should hang their heads in shame.

Really good performance, very entertaining and some great goals. I really enjoy women's football in general. The standard is much higher than many would give it credit for and the game is played with real passion and integrity. I'm tempted to go to the Bosnia & Herzegovina game in November (Bank's Stadium).
Already have my Oxford women's season ticket and FA Cup final ticket for next year. I think Oxford will surprise a few people this year - lots of new players in and 2 really good results to finish pre-season, beating Yeovil and drawing with Bristol City (both WSL1 teams). I've already mentioned this once on here, but Oxford play Man City in November at Oxford City, which is a great chance to see some of the England team. Also, if you have a season ticket for the men's team, tickets are just £1 next season (£5 / £2 otherwise).

6 - 0 now. If only they could have played like this against Holland in the Euros.

Cracking football. Superb passing and movement - admittedly Russia only had 10 women for 60 mins but England could of had 10 goals. Nobbs my woman of the match.

Sampson bout to get hooked apparently with some older revelations coming out. The FA to have covered itself in glory yet again no doubt!!

"Safeguarding issues" when he was at Bristol it seems.
FA governance a mess yet again.

Not entirely surprised, especially after reading about paying Eni £80k 'hush money' last month. Why pay someone to keep quiet if there's nothing to keep quiet about? Seems suspicious. Did they ever explain the payment? Certainly doesn't reflect well on the FA.
I never believed his reason for dropping her either to be honest. She was the top scorer in the league, hugely experienced with over 100 caps, so citing her "form" as the reason she was dropped and not picked since didn't seem justified.
So with the new evidence, their position has seemingly become indefensible and he gets the sack.
Edit: Having read a bit more, the evidence certainly isn't new and should have been a factor when being given the job in the first place. Seems the FA have actively sought out a reason to sack him, other than the racism complaints made by Aluko and Sanderson.

This whole situation has been really badly handled by the FA. Reading between the lines it appears that Mark Sampson had relationship/s with players he was coaching whilst he was at Bristol. A bit naughty but hardly worthy of being sacked at the time let alone several years after the event.
The racist claims have been investigated and dismissed twice. A couple of players have come out with statements (with little substance) but the vast majority had thrown their full support behind their manager. None of us really know what was said but it is fair to say that two investigations found no evidence of misconduct.
It seems like the FA were caught between appearing to condone racism by not acting, or undermining their previous investigations by now taking action.
It is very convenient that suddenly this incident was remembered that gave an excuse to sack Sampson without opening up the racism can of worms. The FA have only proved themselves to be even more incompetent than ever - and that is going something!

Sampson's comments to Aluko were completely idiotic (and unfunny), but not as malicious as some people made them out to be. The FA then did what the FA do best. As soon as the heat gets a little unbearable, find anything to sack them for and oh look they've gone. They left Sampson there so long that they should have backed him and let the storm ride out.
I can't stand Sampson, so I should be glad he's gone. But I have a little sympathy for him as his employer has hung him out to dry in public.
