Anyone any news on Ribeiros injury. I thought he was moving rather gingerly when the team took the pitch.
I heard a rumour he aggravated an old injury in training, but I would have thought he would have had a fitness test before warm up if that was the case. ??
Carroll did reasonably well though slotting into that position at the last minute, good attitude in the main but loses his composure at times.... only the exuberance of youth though.... I think if he's good enough he's old enough and worth a good run in the team.
Ribs appear to be unable to stay sound which is a shame because he seemed to be improving with every game... Useful cover though for RB or Centre of Defence or for the Mickey Mouse.

Pretty sure that Mousinho has played a lot of football at RB as well. Could be a way to crowbar him into the team with Williamson and Nelson.

I would like to see Carroll have a run in the side now he did fine yesterday hes one own our own and only going to improve we have experience all around him ideal time to just play him.

Not a lot to choose between the two except for experience. I would give Carroll a go at this time.

Carroll will only improve if he actually gets game time. Perhaps a run of four or five matches would do him the world of good.

Carroll is ready which I've said since seeing him make some sub appearances this season. Yes he may make mistakes but this will improve him in the long term. You can also see how he wants to always get forward which is what we've been missing a bit when Riberio plays. Very good on the ball too calm and composed.

Carroll is a better option for me against the more physical sides AFC Wimbledon, Gillingham ETC. whereas Ribiero will be the better option against the teams who get the ball on the ground and play.

To me Carroll looks to be potentially a really good player. Pep said so much in his interview yesterday.
For somebody so young, he has real attitude (in a good way). He is strong and takes no rubbish from opponents. Very good defender, but he likes getting forwards.
I would have no problems Carroll playing a few games if Ribeiro is out for a few weeks.
