I thought in a couple of the early games he had the makings of a good understanding with Ribeiro and Nelson on the right. I think he will be OK just needs to bed in and get a couple of good performances under his belt to get his confidence up. That's what the game is all about. This....
No coincidence he's picked up since Ribs has been in the side...I saw the above combination looked good in one of the pre-season games.
Quality players at this level the three of them.

Some really great runs today. One in particular where he chased the ball out from a goalkick (?) and won a throw-in with a neat little kick off their defender. Clearly more comfortable on the right, despite what he said in his interview! Great to have 2 options in that position.

Agree - he looks more assured on the right. This also coincides with Hall's absence. I am absolutely convinced the team has benefited in the last two games due to his unfortunate injury. However I still want to see Hall fit and available soon. I just hope Pep has noticed that Hall OR Henry is the selection dilemma rather than trying to shoehorn both into the side.

The defence generally looked solid again today and gives the rest of the side a platform to go forward and get the result.

Agree as well, they worked well together. Likewise, I thought Rothwell and Ricardinho linked up well on the left also which meant the side had balance.

I've always thought this squad of players is as good as any in the league except perhaps Wigan who I expect to be top at Xmas and stay there.
There isn't a team we cant beat in this league if we have the application and can keep the nucleus of the squad fit.

I think he's a tidy player very good on the ball prepared to trackback, defend and works hard, will only get better with confidence, yet it seems at away games he gets grief from our fans? perhaps those fans should be giving shit to the opposition players not ours?

Incoming player takes 10 games to adjust to new team and surroundings shocker! How many times have we been here before?

That isn't justified for a player who knows the league. Maybe different for a young player or overseas player. Whole point of the forum is to discuss issues and Henry was a concern. I'm behind the players but doesn't mean we can't be critical on a forum.

I thought Henry had a really good game, building up a nice partnership with Ribeiro.

Well deserved, I still can't get over his assist for Ricardinho, for someone who is pretty slow to create that much space with a shimmy and a flick was pure class, the cross was so inviting as well, probably lucky Obika wasn't on or it likely wouldn't have found Ricardinho

I think he is starting to show us the player he can be. He was excellent on Saturday and you sense that he was always better than his early games suggested. You don't play a large part of your career in the Championship for no reason.
