799 with 152 from us. I would call that tinpot but then again it deserves to be in this devalued competition.

Good for the confidence particularly for the likes of Hall. Obika has to start on Saturday for me.

I notice Fazackerley said that a couple of players picked up injuries on Saturday unfortunately so the players who played tonight could be called upon again on Saturday. Can only assume this is Nelson and/or Ricardinho as they were the only players out of the squad this evening.

I imagine they will sell out against leicester's kids.

After a slow start, including going a scrappy goal down, we started to dominate. For the 15 minutes either side of half time our movement and sharp passing were a joy to behold, and we just cut through their defence at will. How often can you chant to a goalie with no 16 "The score's on your back". I know it is an irrelevant tournament with reserve teams, but we were fantastic for half an hour and just far too good for the team they put out.

Hope we go out of the group stage. Imo it cost us a playoff spot last season, because of the fixture pile up it caused last season. We'd be better off out of it asap! I disagree. People look at the final table last season, see us finishing 8th and think "we only missed out on the play offs by 4 points" Thats true, but did we ever look like making the play offs ? With 3 games to go we were 10 points off the play offs and 9 points behind Southend. We moved up 2 places with our win on the last day of the season. If a fixture pile up had resulted in us slipping down the table due to exhaustion, then i might of agreed. But as we actually won our last 3 games,i don't. P.S.Our best spell of the season ? Between the 2nd of January and the 11th of February we had our busiest time of the season,we played 9 games in 40 days. We won 8 and lost 1,this included 2 Fa cup games,2 Checkatrade games and a win at the scum. We then lost at Southend(dont we always) had a great game before losing to Boro in the cup, then went on a 3 game winning streak, resulting in us being in our highest position of the season. So at the end of a fixture pile up of 14 games in 2 months,we won 3 on the trot !! (11 wins in total out of 14 games) So the stats show we actually played our best football when playing Saturday/Tuesday/Saturday/Tuesday.
