Never understand staying behind to boo players off at the end of a game. If a player/team are having a bad game, then i understand why some people do during the game,(i don't personally,i just scream abuse) But if Oxford have been garbage and if i am still there at the final whistle, then i just want to get out A.S.A.P,get to the pub and drown my sorrows with a communal whinge with my mates, not hang around to boo the team off the pitch. Watched the Chelsea v Burnley game on MOD this morning,Chelsea got booed off the pitch. Chelsea had captain Gary Cahill sent off in the first half, they had Cesc Fabregas sent off in the 2nd half, then at 3-0 down, the nine men stage a remarkable comeback that if not for a last minute goal line clearance, would have resulted in an unbelievable point. Yet the nine men get booed off the pitch ? No doubt if the last minute shot goes in,they would have been cheered off as heroes.

Probably spot on. Love Chelsea losing especially as my brother and nephew prefer the pretentious premiership to L1

Both stonewall reds,Cahill didn't even dispute it and Fabregas's 2nd yellow should have been a straight red.

What do children and their parents nearby think of this? Do you also shout encouragement to the players when things aren't going their way?

Probably most of the crowd were foreign tourists who'd spent upwards of a hundred quid for a ticket, and were subsequently outraged that they hadn't seen "their" team win.

It depends on the scenario. In the case last season where Leicester City where the players appeared to down tools, and try and get Ranieri sacked, then those players deserved to feel the wrath of the fans.
Chelsea on the other hand, the 9 men of Chelsea did have a decent crack at trying to pull back from 3 down, which is no mean feat. The two players who deserved the booing were both already down the tunnel having an early bath.

Booing, slagging off and abuse of your own players during a game is totally counter productive in my view, cannot understand my fans feel the need to do it.
Support and encourage the teams whilst the match is being played, if you feel the need to boo and be critical at least wait until the final whistle or even better in the pub or on here later.

Only just catching up on this game and think Cahills was very harsh and obviously Fabregas wouldn't have been sarcastic clapping if not for the red! There will be more reds this season than ever if things like that are deemed to be red.
