Decent article on it in the Grauniad reports that The Premier Leaague assert that fans report "a high level of satisfaction" but doesn't link to tha actual FSF report which was compiled from 8,500 fans, over 75% of whom are not FSF members. The FSF survey reports (it seems to me) that "69% of fans say they started supporting their team because it was their local club. More than three-quarters (78%) also said it was important their club had local players representing it". Unfortunately it doesn't say whether whether these are 'EPL' [sic] supporters or e.g. people who live in Souf Oxon commuter dormvillages and support anybody but OUFC, the cunts. Maddeningly "Almost 80% said they would be happy taking a young family to a match and more than half (55%) would like to see more family zones, fanzones and activities outside stadiums.". I shall be taking up cudgels on behalf of Mobwas against this filthy tide of gentrification. Save the East Stand bogs from Domestos!
