Not a great fan of US sport, with their MVP and World series. But i think its about time the PFA changed their young player of the year to Rookie of the year. Times have changed, the criteria for young player of the year is "someone who is 23 or under at the start of the season" so if you are a September baby you can be nearly 24 ! Once upon a time we had an England under 23 team, long gone, clubs also used to sign players on at 15/16,long gone. With kids now being picked up at 7 or even younger, they are taught skills, physique, diet from an early age. By the time these kids are 24 they can have been coached professionally for nearly 20 years. Lukaku is nominated for PFA young player of the year ? The guy has over 250 games under his belt,he has played FIFTY SIX times for Belgium FFS. I dont think the award was created for players like Lukaku. P.S. I also think whatever your age,you shouldn't be able to win it twice.

If i was Dele Alli I would be gutted that I was only in the young player category, he will win that easily but their haven't been 6 better players in the Prem than him.
