We tend to struggle vs more industrial teams aka afc Wimbledon. Don't have a good feeling about brfc. Though on paper it's a home win. Could be worth a few quid on rovers win as an emotional hedge. We have also had an excellent run which means in oufc fashion something pants is going to happen.

This has a feeling of a smash and grab result for the blue half of Bristol. It seems ages since we have had a home game and the "GasHeads" will not roll over and let us have it all our own way. I get the feeling that whoever scores first will win the game, if we open the scoring we could go on and get 2 or 3, if Rovers score first we could become very frustrated with a dogged defensive display and some very unsporting time wasting tactics from the visitors... As said already, every league game is now a cup final, not just the Wembley showpiece..... There is a real chance we could be at Wembley twice this season....

Attendance prediction: 8900ish.

This game could go either way, last year they outplayed us at their place, they had a stonewall penalty turned down we won. At our place we outplay them they get a penalty that should never of been and we lose. This season we were shocking at their place and lost. I'm hoping we play really well and come out on top but I see a 1 1 draw

We had sold 7,850 as of last night. Add the 1,750 from Rovers and that makes 9,600 total.
With on the day sales it SHOULD top 10,000 but I've a feeling it will be announced as about 9,800.

Would be disappointing if at least 8000 OUFC fa didn't turn out given we have 5600 season ticket holders. That's only 2.5k non ST holders.

Colin, the average walk-up (on the day sales) is about 700, so I would expect a near sell-out (10,500 plus). Will be a great atmosphere, as Gas are a nasty bunch!

Morning Charlie.
I would hope the same as you, but there often seems to be a 200/300 discrepancy in the figure given by the club and my figures. Also I have been told that walk ups are now less than they used to be, but I'd hope that new fans, making a decision to go on a nice sunny morning might mean we're closer to your figures than mine?

Looking forward to today's match it will be tough but I think we will come out on top and not have to put up with good night Irene at the end, but instead it will be good night Vienna for rovers small chance of getting in the playoffs COYY

The only way I found last time to get it out, was replace it with I'm forever blowing bubbles. So will no doubt be watching green street tonight

The only way I found last time to get it out, was replace it with I'm forever blowing bubbles. So will no doubt be watching green street tonight Currently fighting it off with a spirited internal rendition of "It's all over" by Buju Banton. Only problem is as soon as I stand up I start moving about like I've got a major Tourettes thing going on. Found a shop in Vietnam that did statues of Dick van Dyke, life-size, no chance of getting it in me hand baggage.

I'm convinced Hall and Maguire won't play today. I liked the Sercombe/ McAleny partnership post Chesterfield.
