Never done this before. About time we focused on the job in hand.
Brizzle have a little bit of a cross over us these days. However I fancy 1-0, late Johnson goal.
Attendance 10,031. 1,789 from the West Country

Quite aggree every league game in the run in is important now we cannot take our eye off the real goal for the season which is the best league finish possible.
I remember the earlier game away in this season we were really poor (my other half uses that game along with the wimbledon home match as a yardstick for the worst football imaginable) we will put in a better performance and think a 2-0 win Johnson and MacElney.

I'd take a draw, tough team to break down and can frustrate us.

I'd take a draw, tough team to break down and can frustrate us. Really only 4 teams have conceeded more goals this season?! Why on earth would we think they are a hard side to break down If we cant beat this lot at home we have problems. We cannot take our eyes of the ball I want to see us in a playoff final at wembley where teams don't play weakend sides in the competition (can't think of a single league game where clubs have deliberately played reduce strength sides). We can't get complacent over a win over a club in the league below us we need to drive on and prove we can play well outside of cup competitions.

Got a good feeling about tomorrow. Club is flying on a real high at the moment, and despite the games coming at us thick and fast we still seem to be getting the good results.
2-0 to us (McAleny & Sercombe) expect a decent crowd as well, maybe 9k in attendance?

I fancy us to win this one. 2-1 to the boys in yellow. It was reported there were just 120 tickets left a few days ago for home fans so I'd expect a 10k + crowd.

We have 14 games that are more important than the 'day out'!! Ideally we'd get 42 points from them but that aint going to happen but starting tomorrow we need to be focussed on getting as many points as possible with 3 against Rovers to start with. I'm crap with predictions but as long as we keep a clean sheet I'm confident we will win. Another trip in on the bus rather than driving ....can have a drink for a change

Think this game is the most important of our next three. If we are continuing with the 5 game blocks thing, and we're trying to get 8 or 9 per block, we need at least two more points over the next three games. BR at home represents the easiest chance to pick up points, given that the following two are Sheffield United at home and then Peterborough (above us, though admittedly with three games in hand) away. Get a nice win Saturday and then those two games the pressure is off, in a way - and we will likely perform better.
We should win. They've had 6 consecutive draws, scoring four. You can either take that to mean they're unbeaten in 6 or they haven't won in 6, but I prefer to think of it as they haven't won in 6, given that that winless streak coincides with Taylor leaving. They can't score, we have one of the best defenses in the league, and we have attacking players that are in exceptional form. If we play as well as we can do, and use Wednesday's victory as a confidence boost rather than a distraction, this should be comfortable.
2-0, Martinez and a late Hemmings tap in to settle the nerves.
EDIT: They won their last game of January, so unbeaten in 7. Excuse me.

Obviously 3-0. The prediction is almost as lucky as my gloves now. Martinez, Johnson and McAleny. Vital games coming up and wining tomorrow really sets us up well.
COYY !

Against chesterfield we rested Johnson maybe and Ledsome and Lunny maybe I had actually been calling for ruffles to have a game recently (over either lunny or Lego who have played alot of games and certainly wouldn't have been risked on wednesday) and Johnson looked tired at Charlton so could see why is was rested. So a weakend team maybe but for me only slightly and certainly a stronger strike force than wednesday.

But those buying wembley tickets are propper oxford fans! Those that attend every home and away but not the EFL trophy are part timers hurting their club.

But let's keep this thread focused on tomorrow's important game It's about time we beat one of the teams who came up with us. We've done alright against teams who've dropped down from the Championship this season

Will Mapp shuffle the pack tomorrow? I can see Martinez, McAleny and Rothwell featuring plus one of Raglan or Ribeiro. I don't think Hall or Mags will be risked if 50/50. But then again, what do I know?

We need to win tomorrow if playoffs are a realistic ambition a draw is not terrible but should be considered a setback.

I do think that the crowds are less than this team deserves but this has nothing to do with Wembley. If anything Wembley will have sparked more interest ...

McGuire will probably be out for a while and I don't think Hall will play just yet. Martinez and McAleny will return though and Rothwell will be on the bench. Fancy us to win maybe 2-0. Don't really mind who scores.

McAleny and Martinez will be back nicely rested and hopefully Hall will be back too. Sercombe looked back to his best on Wednesday.
Our lads are on fire and full of confidence but it's going to be tough for us tomorrow, they'll be well backed by 1700 gasheads.
Fingers crossed.

Don't care how many we beat them by, so long as we keep them quiet. If I get that bloody Irene song stuck in my head again I will not be happy

3-0
Sercombe, Martinez and McAleny.
First goal after 10 minutes so we should only have to hear that sailor song they sing once or twice.

Ok, we tend to find they're a tough team to break down. Always play us tough under Clarke. Their away form is reassuringly shite though and they're finding ways of dropping points every week it seems, including a top through ball by their striker to the opposition striker last week. It really was a thing to marvel at.
