Ledson Lundstram and Johnson rested. The rotation MApp was on about with a view to Wednesday. Wonder where Rothwell is at?

Fine with resting players, but that's excessive, considering it's close to a must win if we want to go up
As always though COYY

yeah, bit of an eye-opener that, but in MAPP (and Ruffles and Sercombe) we trust right?

Ruffels has earned the game time with his appearances. The squad had to be rotated some time, and with 9 games in March, it has to start somewhere.

Would have preferred to see Rothwell and Ruffles together rather than Sercombe. Agree with the rest of the side though.

Ruffels over Rothwell? Really? Have to have Ledson or Ruffels alongside Lundstram/Sercombe/Rothwell. Can't have these 3 together. Would be a midfield horror show if we did

Ruffels over Rothwell? Really? Rothwell isn't a holding mid neither is sercs, play both together that midfield gets over run. Ruffles has never let us down. The choice was rothwell or sercombe, he obviously feels sercombes recent games have shown enough to pip rothwell to a start.

Very risky line up, to rest your central midfield, left winger etc. Oh well, we'll see!

Ruffels over Rothwell? Really? Holding mid that's why! Totally different kinds of players. Ruffels is a tackling, heading, short-passing midfielder; Rothwell likes to get forward, dribble, try more ambitious passes etc. They play well together, actually. Personally am happy with this line-up. We need to match a desperate side's energy levels first before out-skilling them. Ruffels and Sercombe are high-energy, and will be raring to go in centre mid.

In Mapp we trust. Use the bench as and when need to but this is a game we can win in the push to the playoffs.

I'd be nightly p*ssed off if I was Rothwell. He's had Sercs come back from injury and take his place, McAleny coming in etc. MApp had an option to rest Lundstrum and bring in Rothwell, but for some reason he doesn't get a look in, strange!

I'm sure with the rotation MAPP will have his eyes on Ruffles and Sercs as to whether he nesss to bring on Lego or Lunny

How do u know rothwell hasn't been ill this week, or not performing in training? Maybe he was told sercs is starting today you will play Wednesday. We can all have opinions, I would say if anyone's going to be p*ssed at not getting a game its hemmings. What I do know is that time and time again mapp has shown he knows what's he's doing and if he thinks that's the lineup then that's fair enough with me

Certainly a weaker team, but Ruffles is a steady player and rarely lets us down.
Would rather we rested players mid week but think that shows how keen we are to get to Wembley.

The choice was rothwell or sercombe, he obviously feels sercombes recent games have shown enough to pip rothwell to a start. Why do midfielders get labelled as 'holding' or 'attacking' midfielders these days? Why can't they just be midfielders? Especially as we play 4-4-2, so on paper we don't have a holding midfielder. Personally I think Rothwell is a better player that Ruffels so I would have gone with him. Not the end of the world just my opinion and I think that team is good enough to get the result, and I trust MAPP. Can jut see Rothwell's confidence deteriorating rapidly and him being pushed out the door which would be a shame.
