Bit soft that penalty award. Could give it a lot elsewhere on the pitch
Tine to play with no fear. Nothing to lose

Bugger penalty sounds the ref got that wrong by not stopping the game for head injury to Edwards How many times this year have Oxford places had head injury's suddenly to make an epic recovery after play has been stopped. So I have a certain amount of sympathy for the referees on this one.

I hope skarz is injured or rested. Johnson is not a left back. Been saying it all season.

Thought pen was fair, as was disallowed goal.
Johnson gave up on that cross for the goal and didn't try and deal with it.
Both avoidable to some extent.

Sadly, the game won't do the talking today. Marriner has made himself centre stage when he didn't need to. What a pillock

My prediction is 'Boro 3 Oxford United 2 (Hemmings and Dunkley) Att: 26676 and 3434 Yellows fans, all coming home with sore throats. We will take the lead, but their Premier League experience will just about see them through. What a glorious chance for our players to put themselves in the 'shop window'. Our midfield and attacking players will have a big influence on our performance, here. I don't, for one moment, think our lot will 'freeze' in this fifth-round environment. Their attack will stretch our defence, as you'd expect. I see six of our players being yellow-carded, with one of them getting two yellows. I see an injury coming to Sercombe (maybe it's just his ego taking a bashing). Eastwood will make an amazing save (he'll invest a thousand quid in his bank and receive 5% interest). Dunkley and Skarz will fall out and square up to each other. The ref. will resign from the F.A. and start a new career in China after the game. Their scoreboard will malfunction, after some joker hacked into it and it will show a blue movie in the second half. Fresh after visiting those 'Tattoo Fixers' geezers on TV, M.A. will be sporting his new creation (supercalafragalisticexpialadocious), which has been tattooed on his.....well, he'll refuse to say where! We will have three goals disallowed (cheating bastards). Apparently, the weather forecast for tomorrow is severe fog, so to confuse 'Boro, United will be playing in an all-grey outfit, so our players will be invisible. For the first time ever, the match ball be a solid purple colour. Eastwood will have a black and white striped jersey, just to p*ss off the home fans. The linesmen won't have flags, but as an experiment for possible future use, will be given lightsabers (you know, those Star Wars things). The biggest cheer of the afternoon, will go to the dog, which runs onto the pitch and bites the ball, bursting the bastard. That just about does it for me. Good to be back. Hmmmmmm................

never offside for Oxford ref sh*t scared for us to do well He clearly pushed the def over, who likely would have blocked the cross/shot. The issue is he won't give it every time so we get double punished in both boxes for soft decisions. Very frustrating!!

Penalty was ok, he was going no where, played for it and got the contact. Second goal though was offside,Chey appealed, as the other fwd was in the line of light. We are playing better then 2-0 and the disallowed goal loos harsh. Come on its FA cup. 4-3?
