I took the Jesus-like celebration as a signal that he looks dangerous on crosses. Well he certainly nailed that header. Have always felt that Kane was more than Abel.

If we stopped singing there would literally be no songs started off, bar 'come on oxford' 'yellows' and inane drivel like who are ya. Flaggate definitely knocked the groups motivation for a while. I even sat down elsewhere for a few games. Hopefully we'll get back at it as we're back in the game motivationally, but the rest of the crowd could get a bit more involved. Incidentally inwas looking across the back of the east stand yesterday and noted how many more people are standing up. It's always struck me that the atmosphere would be so much better if all standers stood in one block rather than a thin line across the back of the stand. Maybe we can do something with the club going into next season. You guys in this era are key to getting the singing etc. going...and the older generations will all be thankful for that as we will all join in as the atmosphere grows.
I am pretty sure most of us at some point in our following of oufc have been stood on the terrace, jumping, singing, shouting, making flags, and would have participated in whatever was considered atmosphere generating at that point in time.
The flags, banners and displays that you guys put on add to a match day and take a lot of us back to our days...in my opinion we have missed these displays.
There is nothing better than working in a different part of the country and showing off the displays that have been put on at the weekend, home or away.
I hope you guys have found your motivation and we can look forward to impressive displays in the future...The good times are rolling.

By law now I have to go with the lucky 3-0 call. Baldock to get a great reception and to cry at the end because he misses us all so. Johnson, Hemmings and Martinez to score. AmershamDave's dog tries to steal my lucky gloves but half of the SSU fight it off for the good of our club. Looking forward to this. COME ON! The doggie has been in the kennels for the last two games, while I've been away, but he'll be unleashed for the Sarfend game, on Tuesday!

Gotta laugh - "Prawn Sandwich Brigade" Charlie pontificating from the Emirates on the lack of audible chanting at U's matches! I can see the irony! Assuming that prawns carry a high iron quotient.

even by the standards of the ice box that is the K****m it was bloody freezing yesterday, if you opened you're mouth to sing you got a lung full of Arctic air! My guess is that as the weather warms and the momentum builds we will hear more noise from the faithful. These are exciting times to be an Oxford supporter and for one intend to enjoy every minute!

Ha! So busy filming someone walking in the car park the goal was missed! I suppose their six singers did their best. 'You're support is f*cking shit' was notably ironic.
