To add to all the various other hilarities of today, I have never, ever been at a game where the home PA refuses to announce the away goalscorers.
And yet, they did not. Unlike other OUFC fans I did not miss this because I was in the middle of a celebrating horde. If our goalscorers had been announced, I would have heard it. After the first went in, I asked left and right of me: 'Did you hear them announce our scorer?' Nobody had, but we thought that maybe they just hadn't been able to work out who it was. But when Hall's screamer went in, followed by total tannoy silence, we knew for sure that it was because the PA bloke just couldn't bring himself to say it. Wonderful.

The tannoy bloke was definitely trying his best to goad us. At the start of the game, I'm pretty sure he said he could see a sea of red and white to his right, and a smattering of yellow and blue to his left. Then when they scored (after they blared 'glad all over' out, tinpot) he gave it the 'gooooooooooal.....FIRST of the day' bollocks, then at half time he said 'let me remind you of the score.....' How did that one work out? Prick. Not to mention the dancing robin or ridiculous banner. A real sham of a club.

I thought we deserved to go one up, looked good and missed a couple of good chances up until 35 minutes - then it was one way traffic. I was surprised it took so long for you to score and that you only scored 2. We look unfit, disinterested and a team that's already down. What I'd give for a player like McGuire (sp) in our team now who cared, who understood it's a derby match and who put effort in during the game rather than waiting till full time to show a bit of passion. We are a club in a bad place at the moment, a head coach out of his depth, players who are unfit and passionless and a director of football who didn't even go to the game yet yesterday. Add to that an owner who can't see his philosophy isn't working and you can see we are fucked. I'm amazed there are still 4 teams below us, but I don't think there will be for much longer. I'd love to say I look forward to playing you again next season, but I'm not, and I can't see it happening anyway.

Eeeerrrr....is it just me, or does it look like it's the defender, and not Vigouroux, who makes the red-card challenge?? I was sat bang level with it, defo the keeper If you look at the YP highlights where they slow it down, it's clear that the defender brings him down before the keeper gets there, then the keeper falls over the defender. The ball then goes straight to a Swindon player. I'm pretty sure on that evidence that the red card will be appealed and rescinded, unless it was for something completely different.

Just saying it as I saw it, it looked like the keeper had done him from where I was sitting, in real time with no slowing down etc

If that gets rescinded would it then be passed on to the defender who made the tackle? I believe red cards can be given up to an hour after the game, from what I gather the fourth official saw Vigouroux throw a bottle at Appleton after the game which would normally be violent conduct and a red, I wonder if this has any impact as he couldn't be sent off again?

Thinking that their keeper got to anything first yesterday is optimism of the very highest order!

Rescind the red for Vigouroux and give it to Thompson, then give Vigouroux a nice long ban for his involvement in the tunnel. Sorted.

Vigoroux lost his head the moment before when he tried to let the ball run into the area and had it nicked off him, I think the subsequent charge out of the area was him trying to make amends. He's obviously a decent shot-stopper but has his mad moments, mainly against us it seems!

He could be sent off twice. Dean Windass was sent off three times in one game at Aberdeen. Believe it was once for violent conduct, once for dissent and then one more for throwing a corner flag or something similar on his way off the pitch.

Give him a choice........take the red card or take MAPP on one on one in the tunnel instead of hiding behind your mates chucking bottles. I think we all know what he'll choose 😀

What's this world coming to when the local constabulary are free to dispense their own brand of justice at will to passing innocents, via the medium of the 'wet willy'..?

Is it any coincidence that near the top of our forum is a button labelled "Back to top" whereas on theirs it's "Go down"?

You'd've thought that pressure on a pressure point might be somewhat more effective if firstly removing the Burberry scarf, though...

Guess from looking at the pic they were trying to get him to get his arm out from under himself.

May be on to something there, I think they are checking his pulse as it appears he is giving birth to a fully grown riot police officer. That helmet can't have been fun to pass.
