Anyone else think now there is no wire along back of OxMail stand, so there is no flags, that we're maybe lacking the colour again? Could we not have the empty seats in between the fans in the North Stand, and fill it with all our flags every home game? Sorta like what Aldershot have done behind the goal now.
Would look really good i think, like at Exeter in the play offs, add more yellow and and hide loadsa empty seats. Would surely be better for the players too looking at them when walking out the tunnel?
I have 3 large flags, and would put couple over there if i left priory earlier enuf and a lot of others did.
Just a thought...

What happened to the wire at the back of the OM?
I agree its a good idea, the flags at the back of the stand were never that visible anyway, in the spare seating everyone would be able to see them.

Great idea. Would look good on the TV highlights as well. If we score at the fence end and there aren't many away fans it can look pretty empty.
A couple of big flags, down towards the front would really look good.

Great idea, ask at the reception office if we're allowed to do that, I'd help.

Wire was taken down couple weeks b4 christmas, apparently for health and safety. It's only been up there since 2002!!!!! I know the GE lads have hundreds of flags, and LJS made loads. So we'd def fill that space i think. With the big Ox's head flag there too i think would look rele good. Shud be a plan for Rotherham and remaining home games.

Yes it should be and that's what worries me. It strikes me as the kind of thing that's so simple to organise that the powers that be won't be able to cope.

The absence of the wire now means people have to hang their flags over the wall, which means people standing up means the flags aren't seen!

Where's the big yellow flag these days It was in that area for a few times when we were in the conference and looked good on the highlights.

Anyone can go and get the big yellow flag from the East Stand.

I think this is an idea definately worth pursuing. The big load of empty seats is crying out for something to be done with it. If we can't find enough people to stick in those seats then where's the harm in putting the flags there. Many other clubs have designated 'flag areas' in bits of stands not in use for supporters.
