Tit for tat Shirley? What about all the Orient fans in the north stand last season who were gloating about how they made our kids cry? Should your post not read, "what about the minority of Orient fans in the North stand last season". I was there when we got relegated all those years ago. Most Orient fans did not gloat at all. I remember chatting to some great Orient fans outside. They sounded pretty loud for just the minority

Anyone who was there that day in 2006 will know what Orient fans were like. They were obnoxious, insensitive, boorish oafs. They laughed in our faces. Why any OUFC fan would have sympathy for them is beyond me. They are a disgusting chippy little club and deserve everything they've got coming to them.

I was there that day and I honestly can't remember them taking the p*ss. I'm sure they did but so what? It happens EVERYWHERE. Anyone else remember the young York fan being shown on the big screen crying after full time at Wembley? And then a load of Oxford fans cheering? I do. That was embarrassing and uncalled for. Just like p*ss taking by Orient fans was. Just like flying a plane over Orient would be utterly classless.

How about 5/6 coaches of OUFC fans going to the last game the Orient play this season and run on their pitch when they get relegated? Or have you forgotten 2006?

I think the point was that he hadn't forgot 2006, but that we should be better than that. I will have a laugh if Orient go down, as I will when Swindon go down, I'll also laugh if Man Utd don't make the top 4. But beyond that I'd rather focus on the positives for Oxford rather than the negatives of others.

Fair point indeed. My "plane" post was not meant to cause any agg. Just remembering what Millwall did to West Ham and it made me chuckle, and I certainly have better things to spend around £5/600 on.

Danny Webb has gone as their manager. Omer Riza is the new boss, supposedly to the end of the season. They are obviously not planning to stay in the Conference National long either by going bust or going straight through to Conference South with the current situation and no obvious planning for next season.

How much are they paying to old managers in severance? And importantly, they must be close to appointing Mike Bassett as they've tried everyone else.

Their fifth manager this season, will he make the end of it? Their owner is that mental he will probably blame the new bloke for relegation in two weeks and sack him.

At least we weren't as bad as them when we went down. I can't see where Little Orient go from here. You have only to look at Torquay or York to see where they could be heading. And those clubs are stronger..

What's the record for most managers in a season for a professional team in the U.K.? They must of at least equalled it, certainly if you don't allow caretaker managers, no team can of had 6 in a season.

Players and staff not been paid today apparently, they are a mess and you can write them off as down now.
Hard to figure what their owner is up to, if you want to sell a club, which apparently he does, running it into the ground seems a strange way to do it.

They must be looking forward to all the new derbies, like Bromley, Chelmsford and Maidenhead

Barry Hearn took control of the stadium, separating it from the club and I think it is owned by Matchroom Ltd's pension scheme. Certainly Barry Hearn has said if the fans get control of the club or a reformed club then the 1st season would be rent free then revert back to £184k a season.

Does any club actually pay as much rent as we do? Every time you find out league 1,2 and conference clubs deals they are less than ours by a lot, Merry is a fooking idiot.

Losing 2-0 against Wycombe. 45 minutes away from relegation. Cheerio, cheerio, cheerio! How do you work that out? After this match they will still have 6 to play. Unlikely they'll escape - but they won't be relegated in 45 minutes time,

9 points from safety (with a much worse goal difference) with 6 to play.
