If we draw with Newcastle and beat Bradford it'll be 8 weeks in a row with midweek games, far from ideal If it's on!

Tinpot from all concerned, bit like the Boxing Day game where we were the only game in the country called off. Does us no favours at all, sadly.

Walking back in from the pitch inspection, both managers gave the ref an extremely frosty reception, with Appleton giving him one of his famous, no nonsense, icy stares.

If the covers protect the pitch from frost, why didn't they just keep the covers on till 15 mins before the game?

Tinpot from all concerned, bit like the Boxing Day game where we were the only game in the country called off. Does us no favours at all, sadly. It was playable at 3pm and 6c. How does it do us no favours, the ref arrived before 6 and didn't call it off then

The temperature is 4 degrees, surprised the pitch was frozen. Having said that my car windows were frozen leaving work at 6.30pm!
Feel for the Bradford fans..how many of them were there?

Oufc and Bradford covering their fans travel costs 50/50 That is bollocks. If Bradford want to do it thats their bag, why the feck should Oxford pay for away fans? If I had had driven down from Leicester would they have paid for my petrol? I think not.

Think the problem was that it was warmer today than it had been, but the temperature has really plummeted this evening. Milder weather on the way from Friday so Saturday's game will be fine.

There was only like 20 of them it's not going to be thousands of £

Shows class which reflects well on the club.

I blame Kassam, Oxvox and DE for this. Kassam didn't pay for the undersoil heating so it's his fault. The pipework was in place when he took over but the stingy one wouldn't pay for a boiler.

£500K rent per season for something that is NOT fit for purpose by todays standards....Ka$$ams company stadco are to blame, theyre not managing the stadium properly for its primary function! Half an hour with an industrial warm air blower concentrated on the small frozen area wouldve ensured game on, its that simple.... Stadco youre shit!!!!!!!

Just about to return home it does look pretty bad out there in patches. This should of been inspected at lunch time today. Gutted for the Bradford fans that made the journey. The referee is to blame here imo. Lol would you take a day off work to inspect a football pitch to be abused for 90 mins? The referees have jobs at this level. Stop blaming the referees like this forum seems to do every week an just for once stop looking through the most luminous yellow glasses imaginable. Seriously I see it every week on here people talking crap about referees without being able to engage both brain cells about the situation. Dean Whitestone is a met police officer from Northampton who probably arrived at 5:45 after work he works in London do ain't gonna be around at lunchtime.
