17 Shots 3 on target they had 7 shots and 2 on target if we can convert a few more of those chances then great but will take a 1-0 scored with the left foot from a centre back get in there Chey Dunkley,

Very interesting interview with MApps when he talked about current injured and loanees. And giving the subs a kick up the arse.

No players are likely to come in before Saturday, but Cundy, Ashby and J Roberts may go out again. Just where is the question.

A very welcome three points and wonderful support from the travelling 1238 after the Boxing Day / NYE depression. Just dream of a decent striker and midfield genius and we are sorted.

Adedeji Oshlaja off for Gills. Think they had two sent off in a game recently. Just shows if you cheat you lose Not with Northampton and JJ O'Toole.

Great result. Fabtastic start to the year. We desperately need a goalscoring striker, and if we're able to get one I think the second half of the season could be interesting.

Just back, local game. Travelled with Gills season ticket holder. He shared my belief that Oxford should have won by 3 or 4. Gills were poor but we dominated midfield and were solid defensively, totally blotting out their big 2 strikers. Felt Lunny was excellent but that finish was very poor. As the attacking midfielder he does need to improve his finishing. Ledson solid and tidy. Back 4 all very solid, Macca worked really hard and had a good 2 nd half, which we dominated. Maguire is sheer class, if a tad greedy at times, and his clever play and close control before the driven cross made the goal ( emphatic finish though). Hall creates panic but just needs that 10% that pre season would have given him. Legs went after 60. Not a big fan of Taylor but he caused Gills problems especially 2 nd half and was certainly worth his place but still did not really look like scoring and had no shots that I can remember. Roberts pace and skill is useful against tiring defenders but he makes some iffy decisions and he too might well have converted with a tad more composure. Johnson did cause big problems when he did surge forward but his forays were only occasional. All in all a decent performance backed by an incredible 1250 fans. Just need that fox in the box to convert chances and pounce on errors!

Great result. Travelling U's sounded loud and proud on Radox. However, this mustn't detract from the fact that a defender scored for us today. Better firepower up front must be a priority. COYY

Cracking result from a place where we rarely pick up points. Onwards and upwards to cementing ourselves in the top half.
I'm resigned to Swindon staying up this season though. Not by virtue of being any good - just by having four crap sides below them.
