We just don't have many options do we? We have plenty of wingers now but not enough strikers. MAPP can't do much more than what he has for me. I'd love to see another striker come into the team and offer something else, but we don't have them in the squad yet. Sercombe would be a good change, but he's injured. Same for Thomas. We could play two up front (Hemmings AND Taylor). We could play Skarz or Ruffels at the back and play Johnson further forward. We could play Rothwell in central midfield. We could try Hall in the middle, we could try giving Tyler Roberts a bit longer. We could play more of a 4-3-3... There ARE options - surely almost anything must be better (in an attacking sense) than we have seen over this match and the last two? We could play Taylor and Hemmings, but then we have no options from the bench. Rothwell hasn't done much for me and sadly with Ledson, it's a shocker partnership and with Lundstram they don't seem to click. Our CM has been awful at times this year, at the moment, it's about ok at best. Would love variety there with Sercombe in. I would bring in Skarz, but I'm not convinced he's 100% fit at the moment. MAPP doesn't seem to want Ruffels to play, so we are where we are. We desperately need someone more streetwise to play a role up top. Even if its from the bench. I'd say a new winger that is right footed. Macca is so hot and cold this season that he needs pushing.

]We could play Taylor and Hemmings, but then we have no options from the bench. What is the point of having two strikers neither of whom can play on their own and having one of them on the bench? Yes, we can swap one for another (and doubtless will) but it makes little or no difference - that isn't a sensible option.

If Hall comes off before 75 minutes again, then I'm convinced he's on a bonus for playing longer than that and I'm sorry but Imo (if true) they're putting money before results. Hall should never have been subbed in the last two games. When your chasing the win, you don't take off one of your most creative players. I really hope it isn't true. But Hall rarely completes a game. No conspiracy theories thanks. He is still coming back from a career threatening injury so I would expect him not to complete the 90 for some time yet. For those questioning Appleton and his decision making, you lot are either 12 years old or have a very short memory... Go Dunks!!

Good finish from Chey there and good strength too. Ironic our best goal threat is our central defender.

How slow am I? STILL haven't heard the goal, and saw we scored at least 2 minutes ago, maybe 3 minutes already! Unbelievable. I'd no idea that YP was SO SLOW. Still nothing. 4 minutes. Now it's a corner. And FINALLY, DUNKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we can swap one for another (and doubtless will) but it makes little or no difference - that isn't a sensible option. With the amount of fit wingers we have vs the lack of strikers, MAPP is prepared to compromise the team there and play Maguire up top instead. One postulate and say Maguire is a better player than either Hemmings or Taylor, so neither deserve to be in the team ahead of him
