Having watched it again it was a naughty challenge from MacDonald, he had both feet off the ground after jumping into the tackle. But I don't think there will be any retrospective action, the ref saw it and gave a foul so if he thought it should've been a red for the tackle he would've given it after giving the foul. Feet are not extended though as he leads with his knees and he's sliding toward the side of the keeper. Massive overreaction from the keeper. Him and Thompson were complete idiots all game. Thompson should also have had a red after the game finished for his antics

Macca did make contact with the Keepers head by accident, but the Keeper didn't need to react like that. His head (alongside his team mates) had gone by that time. I'm surprised they paid 400k for him though. He looks to be a very good shot stopper, but the rest of his game is pretty rubbish. For that amount of money, you want a keeper that isn't so temperamental. They could have spent the money on other areas of the team that need it.

Forgive me for being rose tinted but isn't this OUFC side capable of promotion? I actually think Appleton is one of the most ruthless managers I've ever seen. He drums out underperformers in a blink of an eye. We have added pace and strength in the last month; this squad look ready to go. Swindon had some talented players out there but we were so game savvy compared to them. The work rate we showed was tremendous. I did not see a single scummer outside the ground before or after the match. They are seriously intimidated by us these days. I won't be happy though till we make it 12 in a row. Best moment of the day was the young amputee teeing up a searing volley into the net at halftime. Tremendous! COYY.. There was 15-20 Swindon 'lads' in Frankie & Benny's about 1-2 o'clock.

The reason why macca didn't get more than a yellow card was because of the reaction of the keeper had he stayed down the ref would of shown a red. But instead he jumps up and shoves macca

One of the best parts about being the scum is just laughing at their reactions afterwards.
A couple of my favourites from their forum:
"I think 90% of us probably expected to lose yesterday so no real shock. It's crazy how much luck those cunts get against us though. Nothing goes our way at all."
"First time at Kassam and probably the last.Weather shit, team selection shit, linesman very shit, boo and goddard very non league, toilets very wet, attitude and desire missing and to cap it all off being kept behind by the police for an eternity "
Oh, and a golden quote from the BBC Wiltshire commentator after the game - "Well, as we know, goals win football matches".

When I watched those young lads kicking the ball around with Rosie at half time, I was moist-eyed, for sure. I positively p*ssed myself when their goalie gifted us our second goal! Bloody great and enthusiastic performance from the boys in Yellow. Great flag display too. And we only play in the third tier? Well done MA!

Was Maguire's second off his arm/hand? If it was did it count as ball to hand? So not handball?

Definitely came off Maguire's heel. I thought that at the time as I was level with him when it struck him and confirmed on the yellow player highlights.

As for their keeper, he had to go for his reaction as he pushed Macca in the neck/face with both hands. He threw a (girly) punch, clearly visible from where we were in the NS, desrved to be sent off for being such a pussy without a straight right....

Skarz was basically manhandling the lino in trying to the player after it happened - was worried he would get done for it but thankfully not.

Has anybody got any photos of the Ultras display? Plenty of decent photos in the Oxford Mail and the video posted in Video Clips gives perhaps a clearer sense of what was achieved by a dedicated group of fans.

And they had Tim Sherwood watching alongside their Directors (obviously being teed up as new manager) & he promptly left when the second goal went in - whoops!

We had bigger attendances than both Northampton and Bristol Rovers yesterday. We are clearly the bigger of the promoted clubs and I think the table will start to reflect that more as the season goes on. Northampton took 5000 to MK Dons last season, can we beat that? It was a cup game just up the road it was More than there average home support bloody plastics

It was a poor challenge and MacDonald was lucky not to get a red and can actually understand why their keeper reacted as he did, certainly don't think he should have been sent off. The ref had no option but to send the keeper off. He'd already been booked earlier in the game, and then raised his hands against another player, which is a second yellow at least.
