I rode with Richard quite a few times as I am a member of the same cycling club. Used to chat to him about Oxford United on a Saturday morning after a club ride. RIP

RIP. I don't think I had the pleasure of meeting with Richard, but definitely recognise him as a U's fan, a sad loss, condolences to his family.

Knew Richard for many years being a neighbour, top bloke full of life and a avid OUFC fan. Bloody shame to go so young, thoughts with Hilary,Sarah and the family.. RIP Rich..

I didn't know him personally, but it's always sad to see one of the OUFC family leave us.

Extremely sad to learn about Richard's tragic passing, I only appreciated who the thread was about when I saw his photo. I sometimes cycle to the KassStad and we used to have a good natter when collecting or locking up our bikes. Very friendly man and obviously a passionate U's supporter for many years. I'll now think of him every time I ride to the stadium. RIP.
