He's now left us as FIFA rules state you can't play for 2 teams in a season.

He's now left us as FIFA rules state you can't play for 2 teams in a season. Just heard this on Rad Ox too.. Hence the Hackney signing? From the OUFC site: "Unfortunately however, Jennison Myrie-Williams will not be able play for Oxford United this season after international clearance was refused. During the checking process it came to light that the 22-year-old winger, who signed for the U's last Thursday subject to international clearance, has already been under contract with two professional clubs this season. He played for Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone and has also appeared for Dundee United as a substitute during one of their matches earlier in the season. Kelvin Thomas said: "The English FA could not register Myrie-Williams as they are bound by FIFA regulations. Similarly the Football League cannot register him to play for us as international clearance cannot be granted. "Therefore the contract with the player is null and void under the regulations and regrettably the player will be unable to join us this season. Apparently he came on for just 15 minutes with Dundee United, which does seem a little harsh on the lad, but there is not much we can do as a club as the rules are the rules."

The lad is going to be out of work for the next 3 or 4 months due to this stupid rule Lets hope he keeps himself fit during his spell of enforced unemployment and that the club invites him back for preseason training so that they can take a good look at him in action

The conference wouldn't have realised for two months then docked us a gazillion points.

1306: An anti-transfer, of sorts. Oxford United's deal for winger Jennison Myrie-Williams has collapsed because of Fifa regulations. The U's signed the 22-year-old last week but because he has already played for two clubs this season (St Johnstone and Dundee United), the deal has been prohibited.

Hope we didn't get lots of shirts printed? Saw him in the car park Saturday as he got out of this new, top of the range Range Rover with all the trimmings and a personal number plate! They must have been lucrative contracts, however many he signed!
