I see West Ham are paying £2.5 million annual rent for a fantastic stadium seating 60000 in a fast developing area in London, they also get the stewarding and pitch maintenance free. They also get a cut of any food and drink sold on match days.
We have a half built wind tunnel in Greater Lees seating 12000 and are paying £500,000 annual rent.
By my reckoning that is the same cost per seat over a season
I wish we could get Karen Brady on loan
Kassam really stiched us up

I think a lot of West Ham fans are very suspicious of what Gold and Sullivan are up to.

FK took over a half built stadium and saved the football club from extinction, you wouldn't be tapping out posts on this forum with out FK intervention, love him or loathe him.

I think something would have happened, somebody would have stepped in at the last minute. Or we could have done a Wimbledon and started again. Which in my view would have been better than being completely stiched up for the past 20 years. Kassam was the worst thing that ever happened to our great club. How long before we get rid of him forever?

Hereford are top of their league (at an admittedly low level) and have made Wembley in their first season, the only club to ever do that. Not sure what more they could of done in this first year, so that's not a great example.
Although I would hate us to fold and start again, however much AFC Wimbledon etc protest they are completely different clubs to the folded club, no getting away from that.

In how many years since they dropped into oblivion ? This new Hereford phoenix club are in their first season. Fair enough, badly worded by me. Hereford were in a similar financial predicament to us after the 90s they dropped down the leagues and out and have never been back. I know we did it slowly under kassam anyway, but if we had gone completely at that point I don't think we would be back where we are now as quickly

Pretty certain they went out of the league then came back. All of that is a different club than the current Herefords history which has come to an end, that's why I would hate for my club to disappear, its the end, don't know why some of our fans find it anyway an attractive proposition. Fair enough when you have no choice but its the last thing I would want to happen.
