Went to the game at Stevenage and bar a howler from Slocombe, we were brilliant. We need to start putting the home form into the same as we play away.
8 games left, this one and Monday will hopefully cement our place in 2nd. Come on boys
Sercombe overdue a goal... Hugely overdue a goal.

A game I'll have to miss, unfortunately - wedding in Long Melford, Suffolk.
I'm hoping for something like a 3-1 home win. Anything less than three points would be hugely disappointing, especially with a difficult game in prospect at the Abbey Stadium on Monday.
No idea about the attendance. Let's go for 7,329.

Stevenage at home hardly gets the pulses racing, however one team is chasing the dizzy heights of promotion while the other is very much staring relegation back into non league obscurity knowing that it could be a while before league football returns to Broadhall Way. We are all aware that every game we play from now until the end of the season is going to be played with a cup final importance, including the JPT, and no team we come up against should be taken lightly. The Leyton Orient result set us back a bit and gave us the reality check and a kick up the backside which the team responded to by collecting 6 points and scoring 7 goals without reply in our next two games against York City and Barnet respectively. We have enough about us to get all 3 points against Stevenage and a convincing win or a scrappy 1-0 will do us nicely to keep that gap between us and the chasing pack. . OXFORD UNITED - 3 (Hylton, Roofe, MacDonald) Stevenage - 1 (Mullins OG) Att - 8326 (186 visitors)

Jake Wright to break his duck today, you heard it here first! Will it get a game though? Dunkley doesn't deserve to be dropped at present. He's put in some really good performances lately. Got to be winning games like these today. Stevenage aren't that great and certainly didn't help their cause in the away game with their sendings off and giving us two penalties. That said, we've still got some work to do to prove we've kicked off the shackles of our poor home form and today could be a good opportunity to do that. COYY!

Stevenage will come looking for a clean sheet.. Only one thing matters, we score first. If we score before half time, we win 4-0.

Jake Wright to break his duck today, you heard it here first! Disagree, he's going to score the 40-yarder that seals promotion.

Important game today. Like Barnet last week, we need to get hold of the game and dictate it. Defend the set pieces well and hit them on the counter attack. They won't come and roll over on us, so we have to do our job well. 3 more points and the pressure is kept on the teams below.
Beautiful day. Lets hope for a beautiful 3 points

Not bad team that, glad we haven't gone back to Maguire. Hylton and macca on the wings . Slightly reserved about breaking up a decent partnership in Mullins and dunkley. But still a strong back 4. Slightly strange to go with Bowery over Waring , maybe they don't need the physical presence up top and they are a slow team on the floor

Hmmm, my Waring anytime goalscorer bet at 23/10 doesn't look so smart now. Appleton Out!
