Fun night that, easiest Oxford win I have ever seen against the worst side I have ever seen at a professional level. 4-0 flattered them, we should have doubled that. Anyway, 3 points more and a bump to the goal difference, roll on Saturday.

Dagenham were very poor tonight. If anyone has seen their full backs, please direct them to Dagenham and Redbridge FC. Been missing since the kick off. York were poor, but Dagenham were pitiful.
Roofe took his chances tonight. 25 goals for the season now and looking back in form. COD was good but wasteful. Macca was a man possessed all evening and I thought Waring did a really nice job tonight. Looked a handful and linked well with Roofe. Does well for such a big lad.

Shame we didn't knock in 7 or 8 as we could have done quite easily, but that's the only 'moan' and it shows how far we have come.
Well done lads, the application was very good from start to finish tonight. Another game down, another win, another step towards league 1 AND it stops us having to stew over the Orient result till the weekend.

The nice thing is that it keeps the pressure on the teams below us. They need to keep on winning

Great performance, could've been 2 or 3 more! Total opposite of Saturday lively, energetic and attacking. We moved the ball quickly and opened them up at will.

Just got home from work, well pleased with the result and was listening in on Rad Ox. Kemar was Roofeless tonight, and im really pleased for him the other players and the fellow supporters. We got the job done, and now we need to go and get a good result at Barnet on Saturday. One more thing perhaps I should do the home matchday threads as ive not lost yet, and Unifictation does the away threads = Promotion

How can professional sports broadcasters accidentally put the Hartlepool badge, which actually says 'HARTLEPOOL UNITED' on it, over the Dagenham half of the opening shot. Unbelievable and not the first time they've mislabeled our opponents.

Good performance today. I was critical of Roofe on Saturday but he was superb tonight. Waring also in his first start had a great game. He did the simple things brilliantly.
Big Chey, brilliant again won every single header, the mans a colossus!!

Roofe could and should have scored SIX.
He has to play up front preferably with a target man. That last Oxford goal was superb - the flick from Hylts was sublime.
Waring set up two goals and did well.
Same team for Barnet please.

Should say that MacDonald was a real live wire - lots of energy and enterprise and he was M.O.M for me.We've missed him recently and he came back in and was terrific.

Much much better tonight. Mcdonald and Dunkley stand out performers. Roofe could have had more. Very pleased.

2 wingers, Roofe in behind the striker. Bingo.. Now do that every home game from here on in. I like the sound of that. Quick question - does it matter who the striker is who plays ahead of Roofe? Hylton is the obvious choice, but Waring and Bowery could slot in there too. Alex MacDonald hasn't quite received the number of plaudits he's deserved this season. He's an effective little winger at times.

I don't think Hylton is the obvious choice at all, Taylor was before his injury. Each of them could do a job if brought in, though.

1st half just like York 1 goal should and could have been more, Moan over.
2nd half a complete annihilation of Dagenham 3 more goals which puts us equal with Northampton. Now the fans even the ones as the caller to radox claimed were booing and criticising to believe and get behind the team.
For me Macca was definitely the MOM but obvious that the game sponsors gave it to Roofe. Well chuffed with the well taken and Cooley delivered hatrick for Kemar Roofe.
One nervy moment for Dunkley and as i was about to shout some encouragement my mate reminded me to wait, Which i did and then at the end of the match i realised this young man is keeping our captain on the bench and rightly so.
George wearing i was concerned with but as the game went on he grew in stature and was holding the ball up well and he also had a couple of attempts but were blocked so he is getting there.
Jon Jo Kenny and Joe Skarz also played their part very well and were reliable so as not to have any worries.
Benji had a good game came and caught the ball well, Not tested to much but got down well with his saves.
COD had a decent game taking on more opposition and beating them, One small criticism maybe should look and pass a bit quicker but the young man is learning all the time.
Mulls had a solid game tonight nearly scored with a well taken corner.
Sercombe Mr dependable as usual.
John Lundstram another solid performance.
This maybe the bottom of the football league team but it must and would hope the positives the team got tonight ready for a tricky but doable Barnet on saturday.

I don't think Hylton is the obvious choice at all, Taylor was before his injury. Each of them could do a job if brought in, though. It just goes to show you that we have good squad depth, and players can come in and do a job if needed, and that's so important during a long footballing season. That could be why Plymouth's form has slipped since Xmas, and the severe lack of depth in there squad.

Forgot to mention Hylton played very well and his perfectly placed cross for Macca's goal was sublime, Great to see Josh Ashby come on and certainly did no harm and wasn't fazed by the occasion i believe that was the second tie he came on i maybe wrong so please correct me if i am. Same with Josh Ruffles he slotted in nicely.

Absolutely delighted. After the Orient game I was thinking maybe Appleton should get the sack. Now I'm thinking give the man a contract extension. There is no point in being fickle in this game. and finally...we have sorted out our home form.

I don't think a comfortable win against dagenham means our home form is sorted, great performance nonetheless

He's an effective little winger at times. Well I'll be honest and say I didn't think Waring would be that man. But he had a cracking game and certainly showed why he was rated highly in the league above. Bowery is a strange one, he went from almost unplayable at Plymouth to virtually appalling bs Orient, l2 strikers I guess. Then there is Hylton, I love Hylton but I'm not convinced he'll be here next season whatever league we are in. A shame because as shown last night he can be unplayable at times but he could also turn in a Orient performance where he was a 3/10 at best!

As a complete aside, I was interested to see that Burton Albion, head and shoulders above the pack in Division 3, have only scored 46 goals - amazingly only one more than bottom-placed Colchester. Something like 11 or 12 teams have scored more than them. I'd guess they've won 15+ games by one goal only. Credit where it's due, but I know who I'd much rather watch.
