Plymouth fans seem to be deeply concerned about their teams ability to put the ball in the net at the moment. Many are predicting an Oxford win by two or three goals. Normally that would worry me, but I sense there is momentum building I feel we are more than capable of getting three points and chasing Oxford Reserves all the way for the title!

Lord Lucan has been to more games than you recently Beginning to feel that way too! Will be going to Barnet and Crawley for sure and the rest of the home games with the possible exception of D&R on the Tuesday. (Mrs Manorlounger is having a hard time at work and we both suffer as a result) Wembley is a given (got the Monday off work to celebrate!) and for the Wycombe game we are booked into hotel and have reservations to eat with champers laid on! Got a mate coming down for that one. Bought his ticket already, one of the bonus' of being corporate! Wait is he comin down for the game or the hotel 2man job

Sorry I hope not. Lundstram if fit is a banker starter Roofe must start And knowing MAPP I bet Maguire starts as well The big decision is on Wright, personally I would play Wright but drop Mullins Who be a manager.

Once again my (retired) secretary has decided to have a dinner party starting half way through the match ( time difference you know). So I will miss the second half, bah! But I forecast that in the first half we will score (Hylton) and a dog will let Amersham Dave out onto the pitch. Fun and laughter for all! In the second half it will be very nervy (glad I'm missing that bit) until Roofe works his magic on 85 minutes. 2-0 for the Mighty Yellows. Wear a Bluetooth ear piece, listen to Yellow Player, (hopefully YP wil actually work)then you can still make some sort of conversation. If the lady of the house notices, just reply; that you are multitasking, she and the guests should be well impressed.

First beer of the day already downed here in Jomtien Thailand. Ten pm kick off today rather than quarter to bloody three in the morning last Wednesday.
Same result and score line will do nicely.

Bets for us are shit lately how is 5-0 against 3rd only 200/1 Odds have been pretty poor on us all year, managed to get Oxford to win Bowery to score at a whopping 21/10 on Tuesday, most were offering around 8/5. We're 6/4 with some bookies, you'll probably be able to get 2/1 on Plymouth by kick off! Anyway, 1-2 Oxford coming from behind.

Little bit of snow in Oxfordshire overnight, hope the weather is alright in Plymouth. Can't see many Northern games being played today! There are only 3 to start with in L2. Carlisle, Mansfield and Notts County. Would have thought they'd have called off Carlisle by now if they were going to, it's a long trek for Northampton fans.

Can't do today already booked hotel stays in Watford for Barnet and The Bank Holiday weekend in Cambridge.
Best wishes to those who've travelled. Hopefully you'll be rewarded with an outstanding victory.
4-1 to Oxford. Roofe 2, Sercombe & Maguire.

Oh, goodness; what a hard one to predict! I'll try, but don't hold me to account. Plymouth have two players missing, so it sounds good for us - but wait a minute, didn't Accrington have FIVE players out, yet still beat us with ten men? Oh dear. Second v third can usually throw up a surprise result. We've won our last six away, so that run will end soon (hopefully not here). A draw looks favourable this time out. Right now, I would grab that, thank you very much. But this is Oxford United - capable of surprise results, good or bad. If Roofe is on his best form, along with Bowery and Sercombe, O'Dowda, MacDonald, Hylton, Lunny and the back four....wait a minute, what am I going on about............if they play to their abilities, we'll p*ss this game. With that renewed confidence, I can safely predict.........a dog will run onto the pitch. Oh, and someone will let off a firework and a Plymouth fan will play a piano all through the match. Sercombe will get into a fight with MacDonald and fracture his clavicle. Some Plymouth fans will walk out of the ground after 34 minutes, because their team are playing bad. Plymouth 1 Oxford 2 (Roofe 2) Att: 12342 with 1232 Yellows fans. That just about does it for me. Blimey, we can't have Sercs and Macca fighting. Last time you predicted Sercs punching Lunny, MAPP read your thread and left Lunny out. If MAPP reads this he will probably drop Macca.

Blowing a gale here at the stadium. Locals seem a bit worried about the strength of their bench, say they have five young pros who had a lot of potential 18 months ago but haven't ended up with any first team games (sounds familiar) It certainly does HG, but just at the moment the Argyle squad seem more stretched than ours. Still nervous about this one but far less so given our most recent results. Anyway here's to victory. COYY!
