I missed the beginning. What did he say about the kit? I came in on the end of it.

Nothing.
He just said that Thomas had listened to the fans opinions on the last one. That was it. No idea about design or anything. To be fair to Wilder, I dont think he really cares. Other things on his mind.

He said the kit was 'A bit Marmite' and hinted of a change. And that he would be looking to replace the out-going players with players of better ability/quality and to continue the Club's improvement. The Club are Championship potential with the facilities and support.

I didnt like what he said about Sheff Utd.
Its the first time that he didnt flat out say that he wouldnt go.
It seemed more like not burning bridges with them and us, just in case he ends up there at some stage. I fully understand that, after all its the club he supports, but it didnt make me feel overly confident.

Loads of managers talk up their current clubs but I get the impression that Wilder doesn't see Oxford as just a stepping stone and while he understandably has to consider any offer from much bigger clubs I think he's very content to stay here for quite a while.

Would agree with that. Think KT is a huge factor.

He said something along the lines of 'We gave every oppertunity to the players that got us promoted until christmas, after that we off-loaded and brought new players in and our results improved thereafter'. Make of that as you will.

Make of that as you will. Uhmmm.... That they were given a chance and some didnt cut it, so were told they werent needed next year. Why what did you make of it? That Jack Midson is actually a 30 goal a season league 1 player but Wilder didnt like him??
