If the Q&A with JR is anything to go by, then the new commitee in charge of Oxvox will take the supporters trust forwards and upwards.
A hearty congratualtions to Mark Sennett and his team for the opportunity to question a member of the Oxford United board who has real history with the club.

Thanks for your kind words Paul. One of our main aims over the coming months is to meet as many fans as possible to let them know what OxVox is about and why they should join as members. We will also be running monthly events at the Priory so we can meet fans away from match days so they can get to know the committee and hopefully sign up as members!
The first event will be held in the first week of June and will be a quiz night. We should have full details of the date and time next week.

All good stuff mark and some interesting answers from Jim. A question. What's your thoughts on the numbers that attended? Below 40? Do you not think that's down to location?
One of my grips ( I've mentioned this before ) is holding meetings hold up in the landmark room in the stadium.
Why not freelance it and have a 1 off open meeting in the priory? Imagine the interest you'd have got if you held the recent meeting with JR in the priory...
Not having a pop at you or oxvox as o appreciate the hard work you all do and the efforts you are all putting in..

The numbers were not bad considering the AGM turnout. We've always had sensible numbers turn up for these Q&A sessions which has included Denis Smith, Les Phillips, Jim Smith, Kelvin Thomas and now Jim Rosenthal.
We will be moving to a new location to try something different and we have been in talks with Tim Rackley and have been given the green light to have some OxVox events down at the matchday Supporters Club!

As Simon has mentioned we plan to hold our next members meeting at the Priory to see if numbers increase. We just need to work the logistics out with Tim. I spoke to Tim on Saturday and he is very happy for us to run event at the Priory and we are keen to do so.
We will also make an effort next season to try and mingle with as many fans as possible to try to attract more members.

Mark, will Oxvox be having a promotional stand at the United Open Day this year. If so will you be looking to do something a bit different to help build the membership?
It does appear that the influx of a younger element has breathed a bit of much needed life into the supporters trust.

Afraid we can't really give much insight on this yet Paul as there has been no information on when/if the open day will happen. But we have had a presence at the last few open days which have all been very enjoyable events.
