HAS ANYONE SEEN HIM PLAY? All of these comments are pointless .Give him a chance and then make your judgements. I have only ever seen about three or four clips of Pele but i still have an opinion on him. Opinions are formed by using a variety of different means!

Have you seen him play? How else can you have an opinion. Chinese whispers? Are you serious? Are blind people allowed opinions on things they can't see with their eyes? I have opinions on many things i have never seen, from Hitler to God! Seriously, people base their opinions on a variety of sources. I have never seen Stanley Matthews play but after reading about him I have formed an opinion that he is one of the all time great English players!

Spoke to Tranmere mate today who remembers the Leeds game & Jenni goal well. Said it was a belter but that he had a tendancy to "drift" out of matches too easily. The odd touch of brilliance was too infrequent and he became a bit of a luxury to have in the team for his overall contribution. Rated him quite highly though & said he could probably do a job for us if he put his mind to it (although he (my mate) came down for the Southend match and after watching that he thinks that just about anybody could do a half decent job for us!).

I reserve judgement until he's had a few games. But if he doesn't put his mind to it he won't be here for long, CW knows what he wants.

Wingers do that, drift in and out of games. I was going to say the same thing. If he was holding midfielder, or a centre half, then drifting in and out of games would be a problem. As a creative, attacking player then it comes with the territory.

Is this the shortest time anyone has been an Oxford player? Did he actually become an Oxford player? Shorter - Bruce Grobbelaar?

Is this the shortest time anyone has been an Oxford player? Did he actually become an Oxford player? Shorter - Bruce Grobbelaar? No, because the the contract would only have been completed once international clearance was given. In the blurb on one of the reports CW or KT mention this. That aside, seem's harsh for 15 mins worth sub appearance for Dundee Utd but them's the rules. If he has an agent then he has been badly advised as well, considering the agent should of known this rule as it is rather important. Shows the pitfalls facing players when they are trying to earn longer contracts by signing short-term deals.

Are we assuming that Oxford will try and sign him (and probably succeed) again under the same terms once the season's up? His replacement doesn't look like he'll be here beyond the end of the season.

Mind you, given how corrupt FIFA appear to be, along with that poxy league ( copyright CW), the head honcho IS a law unto himself, and nonsensical rules probably give Blatter and Lee all kind of disturbing thoughts

Fucked if I am paying to have that name wrote across a shirt. Wise choice! I'll laugh if someone has gone and done that.

One thing I don't understand about this playing for three different clubs in the same season business - how come Paul Konchesky can play for 3 clubs in a season (Fulham, Liverpool, Forest)?
