Do they not get on?
Wilder states in his interview that it was a pleasing win "on a personal level". Also expresses his disappointment that there were certain comments on the opposition being "terrible"....made by turner.
The only thing i can think of is CW's disappointment at losing the play-off final to hereford in 2006 as halifax manager.

I also noticed that in the highlights Mickey Lewis speaks, not King Wilder.
Perhaps Turner said something out of turn in 2006.

Wilder called Shrews Assistant Manager an arsehole on Tuesday night - with considerable feeling, methinks that once you cross CW you stay crossed and damned for all time - if not longer!

Yeah, I heard that. It wasn't jus a passing comment either, CW looked as though he was ready for a good old verbal slanging match until their assistant slumped back into his dug out. Who was their assistant, I seemed to recognise him ?

Sorry, Wilder has crossed the line there. It should be pointed out to Wilder that Trewick is an Ox ledge. He's untouchable here a bit like whacking a made guy, sorry, you can't do it.

I have to say Trewick handled the exchange with great dignity. I was very close by and Wilder was goading him and calling him an arse hole, not once but twice. From what I saw Trewick didn't respond and just had a quite word with the fourth official and took his seat.

Had I realised it was John Trewick I would given him a clap. -True legend. Is he a legend? I remember him being nicknamed as 'the crab' as he always passed sideways! Also, I can remember plenty in the crowd around me being quite happy when he left the club. Is this some form of retrospective legend status being afforded to him as he certainly wasn't at the time?

If Wilder has a personal problem with Trewick, then that's his business. It's not ours to condemn or condone his actions, although it's better if he keeps it off the pitch.

Good post and I agree, not a legend.
