I watched the Italy vs. Uruguay game (unlike England, there was a point to it) and yes, it certainly looks that way. He suspiciously leaned his head into Chiellini who, when he eventually got up, was then showing the referee a bite mark on his shoulder. If there's a better camera angle somewhere, Suarez could be in big trouble. Generally the game was thoroughly tedious. Italy won't be missed as they're a really dull side, but Uruguay are quite talentless apart from El Bitey and created very little, even against 10 men for the last half hour. Just one good set piece got them the win. Hopefully Colombia will absolutely eviscerate them at the weekend.

Wilshire is hopeless. How many dead ends can one player run into. Jones and Smalling are both useless too. Done their jobs. Both solid enough. What game were you watching junior?

no surprise Junior defending the 2 man utd players.
doesnt look good from suarez. he started to lose his reputation after this season, then goes and does it again. be interesting to see how Fifa deals with it. i cant imagine Uruguay have enough spare money to "have a word" with Fifa and not get him banned

If Jagielka is the answer the question is worrying.

This world cup has gone to show how much the English game has deteriorated. Not enough English players playing top flight premier league football, So Hodgson is going to have to start to look at other English premier and even the Championship. Our game is ruined now because of money and greed and f**king Tony Blair. Tony Blair!

He signed the Lisbon treaty allowing freedom of movement, If he hadn't it may have curbed the huge influx of foreign players.

He signed the Lisbon treaty allowing freedom of movement, If he hadn't it may have curbed the huge influx of foreign players. Why aren't English players then flooding the Spanish/ French/ German etc leagues then? Because theyre not good enough. Its nothing to do with Tony Blair etc were simply not good enough.

And unless we start to play them a lot more rather than reserve football then sell them to lower league opposition WE AINT GOING TO BE ANY GOOD!!!

But the same rule applies in Holland & Germany & France. They seem to be doing ok. Who do we blame for that?

but In Holland and Germany and to some extent France they're all countries that use a lot more home grown players than we do or the better ones are here or in La liga playing top quality football. What England internationals are playing abroad?

I blame Rupert Murdoch. After all, these foreign players wouldn't be attracted to English football if not for all the money being pumped into the game by Sky. Bloody right-wing media...
