Absolutely clueless. How hard is it to understand? The ball wasn't in first time, that's why it said no goal. It didn't say goal until the keeper pushed it over the line, and he thinks goal line technology has "changed its mind". Breathtakingly stupid. He should stick to Robot Wars.

Good to see Honduras taking up the traditional mantle of the World Cup team that kicks first, kicks second and doesn't even bother with the questions.

Difficult to take seriously a match between a team dressed as towel boys on a Caribbean cruise against the big lads in white.
And. Why can't the technology thing go - 'Not a goal now', 'Not a goal now', 'Goal now'? Seems the commentators are a bit confused about the space / time continuum.
Honduras woeful, referee dire, commentary abysmal. Must drink more before Argentina kicks off.

Pearce sounds like a confused old man. Are we sure he's alright?

Pearce sounds like a confused old man. Are we sure he's alright? He wasn't on it at all tonight. First the goal line technology confused him and then he's convinced the French had scored when the ball had clearly gone into the side-netting (Keown tried to help him out).

Pearce sounded like how Motson commentates now last night - bewildered, confused and not totally with it. The Brazilian heat must have got to him.
Well, at least Honduras are consistent. I thought there was a good chance that game could have been abandoned when you consider how many bone crunching challenges the Hondurans went in for.
