Regardless of the manager debate and the situation around the closure of the 12th Man it should not be forgotten by Oxford United that the 12th Man have some significant money in their pot which could yet be used during this current LOAN WINDOW to put a shot into the arm of our side and current form.
The amount being around £15,000 could be quite beneficial. If you get a player from a Championship or L1 side who is on £4k per week, a 50% contribution from OUFC (using that money and is the norm in loan signings) would bring in a decent player - one would hope.

What is the situation now with regards to 12th man and the club? As I understood it monies paid had to be by request and agreement between the club and those nominated by the 12th man to represent the group. How, if at all, has this been affected by the club's rejection of 12th man? I cannot remember who the 'signatures' were but would particularly be interested in a reply from one of them, straight from the horses mouth as they say.

£15,000 remains available to the club from the 12th Man fund towards a new 1st team player. The club is fully aware. There are 3 signatories, myself, Danny Johnston, and Michael North, and two are required on any payment from the fund. Obviously fans gave their money to the 12th Man for this purpose only and that is all it will ever be used for.

Shame it can't be towards a new first team manager. Register Tisdale as player/manager and he can pull his boots on for the last minute of one game. SOLVED!

Three wins in 25 matches - no home wins since October 7th - hardly any goals scored at St James Park in five months- Exeter on the brink of a devastating return to the Conference - sub 3,000 gates... and there is clamour on here for a guy who must be so close to the sack it's not true. YOU COULD NOT MAKE IT UP! Take a look at the Exeter City forum to see what their fans feel and write about Tisdale - its poisonous.

Thanks for the answer Trevor, don't know what's going-on in the madhouse that is OUFC but at least that money is in the hands of responsible people. Additionally pleased it is not being used for anything other than the reason it was raised.

This is me being sarcastic, At the home game at Hartlepool I went to the quad pre match to meet up with mates got asked for a quid or my season ticket, I said this is not the 12th man bar no more so shouldn't have to pay, Showed my S/t and went in. 2 minutes later some Muppet on the door came up and demanded to see my S/T showed him said he was an idiot. My question is are these doorman in grey waterproof jackets a private company or are they directly employed by the club, Although if I wasn't an S/T holder would have paid as it was towards the club. The quid entry was because of the 12th man its not the 12th man bar no more so technically it should be free.

The security staff didn't like your attitude, I think that was the problem. When I asked them what the issue was, they said you didn't believe anyone should pay as the 12th Man group doesn't exist. I thought they were going to kick you out, but I'd have intervened if they had. The 12th Man group have decided to finish, but it doesn't affect the £1 charge for non season ticket holders. The agreement was put in place at the start of the season, will still happen whoever looks after the bar on match days.

But I still personally feel all the supporters groups should get together and become one voice it puts that voice in a stronger position when speaking with the chairman or whoever.

Fans should be united, and work together, I agree with that. Unity is vital if a football club is to be successful.
OxVox are the supporters trust, representing members on the issues that matter. The Yellow Army are the fans, working to improve the match day experience, raising funds for the club, and creating a great atmosphere, like what we saw last night.
If you ever want to discuss things, either myself of some of the other fans involved will be on the bar door.

I may just do that, still feel an amalgamation should be considered thrash out the details then have a good conversation between the necessary groups to see what can be done with no overall leader.

The 12th Man fund was for players. What is the money collected on the door of the bar being used for? Who is administering the funds? Who are the trustee's? I wouldn't be happy giving money without knowing what it is being spent on and by whom.
