I spoke to the Cheltenham safety officer today, so can now pass on what we can and can't bring in on Saturday.
Unlike Burton, we won't be able to take balloons because they will get on the pitch as fans are close to the pitch. If you take confetti, they won't stop you taking it in, but would prefer it not to be taken in because someone will have to clean it up. Instead of space for flags, we have been given our full allocation, so there won't be space for flags.
It seems like we can't do much, but their safety officer was apologetic and said it's only because we have our full allocation that they need to be a bit more strict.
Cheltenham have had a couple of games where away fans have let off smoke bombs. They have a zero tolerance policy, and the 2 fans who let them off, both received prison sentences. So it's advisable to not take the risk on Saturday.
It's not ideal, and I wish we could take in a lot more. But there will be plenty more away games that we arrange to have displays, flags, confetti and balloons.
We will have 1,500 there on Saturday, and it will be another proud day to be part of the Yellow Army, to back the mighty Oxford United. The players are loving the support they get, so we can be even nosier on Saturday.

We'll just have to make a whole lot of noise instead!

To be honest, most club safety officers are going to say not to bring balloons and confetti etc simply for the fact some poor sod is going to have to clear it up.
I don't think half of that stuff is necessary anyway. It just needs everyone to make some effort and sing up!
