Our game at Burton on Saturday is another big away day for Oxford United, and the Yellow Army. Another large away following is expected, with terrace admission just £15, and a low roof to generate a great atmosphere.
The game at Burton will be, Yellow Army Flag Away Day. The aim of the day, is to have flags over the barriers, and have loads of confetti, balloons and scarfs on show.
I spoke to the safety officer at Burton today, and we have permission for flags, banners, confetti and balloons. So take as much as you can, it will be allowed in.
Away days are what make supporting Oxford United so good, and Saturday will be another away day where we show just how loud and proud the Yellow Army are.
Follow @ussoufc on Twitter, as we build up to Yellow Army Flag Away Day.

With the permission to take along balloons, confetti, flags etc we should all make a big effort with this one. If you're sat there reading this knowing you never usually take anything to a game, make an exception for this one. Bring some balloons or some yellow pages and add to the display!
Burton is always a top away day, decent ticket price, great terrace behind the goal, low roof, good atmosphere, surprisingly good food, not far to travel and easy to park. And it's pay on the day, so let's do a Woking and try and completely fill the terrace and give the stewards a headache.
Looking forward to it!

Taking my 10 ft flag, and got 2 other lads who don't take there flags taking there's. Plenty of places to hang them on the back wall and all along the terracing. We used to cover the away ends in the 09/10 season with all the flags. There never seems to be any at games anymore. Lets get them all back!!

There were a good number of flags and scarves on show today, and good confetti and balloons. There are some good pictures that can be added to the pictures thread. Thank you for getting involved.
Great support from our fans today

What about smoke bombs. ;-) Love smoke bombs, was great to see one back again today. The one today was completely harmless, added to the atmosphere at the time too, definitely got the crowd going. As long as someone has a safe way of getting them in unnoticed they should carry on! Personally I wouldn't take the risk after the huge football bans and prison sentence they can come with, but love it when someone else takes the risk

Shame couldn't hang banners along the back wall like Burton could up there end. I really like the wavy flags, and the confetti always looks good (as do the smoke bombs again) Would love our away games to have them all like it again like it was every week in 09-10

I stuck my flag to the back wall on left side of the goal - had fallen off by half-time but never mind!
