Where is he nowadays ? I rarely see him at our games anymore, he seemed a keener watcher of us when we were in non league last season.

He almost crashed into me once. He drove out of a side road on the Minchery Farm Estate at speed then decided that, despite the fact that cars were parked on his side of the road, he would swerve around them and not bother about the fact that I was already there coming the other way. Thankfully I was able to get out of the way before he hit me because he was going far too fast to slow his tank down in time. Jim Smith was in the Directors Box for the Boxing Day match.

I was told that he had moved, or was on the move, to South Oxfordshire, Goring way.

I believe his daughter has a shop/business in Woodstock & Jim lives nearby, quite modest by footballers/managers standards today.

Talking of Merry, I remember bumping into him in the Banbury United toilets once (ooh err) and he was so p*ssed he forgot to do his flies up and walked straight out of the bog.

Was he being given a lift by George Michael?

Just before he drove his car no doubt. Thats why he can't drive. Talking of Merry, I remember bumping into him in the Banbury United toilets once (ooh err) and he was so p*ssed he forgot to do his flies up and walked straight out of the bog.
