1) What a fantastic team performance. Credit to Shrewsbury for trying to take the game to us.
2) Absolute quality finishes from Beano. And on his weaker foot!
3) Still a bit nervy on corners.
4) The ref let a lot of dodgy challenges go. Maclean looked like he jumped in two-footed on a couple of occasions. His class shone through this evening though.
5) Thank you CW. It's a good time to be an Oxford United fan.

Great performance. The whole team worked hard. Constable's all round game was excellent.
We must wise up on corners though. Worley did OK second half but I somehow don't feel confident when he's on the ball. Unfair to comment on a few minutes, but Sangare looked a bit leaden.
Love watching Potter. Just needs a bit more composure.
Maclean lacks pace (he's no Spring chicken) but what a fantastic reader of the game.
Well done all round boys! Thought the crowd were good as well.

Probably lacks a bit of match fitness. Hasn't he been sitting about twiddling his thumbs since his move to Morocco fell through?

It was fantastic to see us dominate a side chasing promotion in the second half, and it's also great to see us doing this on a regular basis and scoring goals.
And great to see Hall get his first goal!

Three super goals!
Shrewsbury looked half decent but not like a play off side.

Outstanding, basically.
Came up against one of the better teams in the division, and thumped them. Aside from a few set pieces, they didn't really look threatening - the goal was rather unlucky. And we looked decidedly menacing throughout going forward.
Some of the football we played - particularly the first 25 minutes of the second half - was exquisite. The addition of the two Macs, who both have amazing composure and understanding of the game, just seems to have upped the quality of our play a couple of notches. Some of the ultra-confident, precise, one-touch passing was as good as anything I've seen from an Oxford team since.....well.....Smith Mk 1, I guess(not that there's a whole load of competition). And on top of that, the team's work rate and passion is terrific as well. Beano was just on another plain tonight in that respect.
We may well be a little too shaky defensively, and a little too inconsistent to win promotion this year - but we really do have a fun team to watch right now, and I'm massively looking forward to the next 20 games.
Good to see the crowd respond too, and produce a decent atmosphere.

Crowd was a bit of a let down IMO.. Agreed. Lots of moments of silence during the first half.

United are playing so much good football - it's great to watch!
We have added experience and nous in midfield with McLaren and class and guile with MacLean coming off the front and linking play up and we have so many options in matches if things are not going well.
Should be a good attendance on Saturday against Cheltenham Town now that we are in a play off position and playing attractive football.
