Should Oxford do what Nottingham Forest did last year, sack a manager who almost got them promoted... Forest finished 19th this year...
Year on year, the team now is better than the one in 2011.

I think thats the point, no real thought in the loan. To be honest, I would have gone with Crocombe and stuck the loanee on the bench. He only arrived in Oxford last night so would have met the player at 1pm today? yeah after the announcement that was what i thought.

The bloke who called me a moron is typical of many on this forum. We are not ambitious enough. Wilder will always be remembered as the man who got us out of the conference Smith put us in, but Wilder has taken us as far as he can. The main reason we have failed this season is that Wilder has made a total mess of our strike force with his dreadful loanee signings. Constable is not enough and is inconsistent plus the loanee signings can only have p*ssed him off. Wilder can take us no further as he is clueless when it comes to strikers. We can attract a manager who is capable of taking us into League One which I feel is where our club should at least be. Brownlie's back.............. Unfortunately.... It`s depressing enough listening to radox without having to read his b*llshit.

We can attract a manager who is capable of taking us into League One which I feel is where our club should at least be. Lots of people think that Bradford, Southend, Torquay, Plymouth, Bristol Rovers... should be in League One. Perhaps the problem is that League One should have 40 teams in it? Could the truth be that Oxford doesn't attract the strikers Wilder would like to sign as they are playing at a higher level - or Swindon are able to pay 100% of their wages... Robbie Hall and Holmes sort of destroy all the argument that Wilder can't spot strikers. Add Franks to that list (another player who was injured) and suddenly the picture changes.

Why on earth was Heslop playing in place of Chapman in the first place? Am I missing something here?

In the event that we do reach the playoffs, no matter how unlikely that now looks, do the loanees contracts extend to cover them or do they go back after the PV game?
