This is f#cking ridiculous. The word 'bottled' was invented for this first half performance.

dtill think he could of brought in someone with more experience. Like who? Most clubs go with a keeper on the bench so you'd be looking at a potential 3rd choice keeper from a club. Robert burch from notts county. Notts dont play a keeper on the bench and have 3. that is one example i found in two mins. mark howard from sheffield united.

I think Jerome has forgotten about the Northampton V Gillingham Game. If The Gills win that one then its goodnight Vienna, even if crewe's and cheltenhams results stay the same.

Lets regroup and have some magic tea and hope for a miracle in the second.

They do have a keeper on the bench today

The bloke who called me a moron is typical of many on this forum.
We are not ambitious enough. Wilder will always be remembered as the man who got us out of the conference Smith put us in, but Wilder has taken us as far as he can. The main reason we have failed this season is that Wilder has made a total mess of our strike force with his dreadful loanee signings. Constable is not enough and is inconsistent plus the loanee signings can only have p*ssed him off.
Wilder can take us no further as he is clueless when it comes to strikers.
We can attract a manager who is capable of taking us into League One which I feel is where our club should at least be.

Who's to say the player would want to move? We wouldn't have been able to give them time to think about it.

Laughable performance, for info if not here. No passion, desire, anything. Team looks like they have never met. Shocking.

Jerome doesn't realise the Gillingham situation. If they win at Northampton and we don't, it doesn't matter about the Crewe and Cheltenham results as we will drop below Gillingham, and next week won't matter.

With less than 24 hours to find a keeper, I don't think they had time to hang about pondering.

I could also think of paul smith at nottingham forest. Surely if you can think of enough players one of thems going to want to come to play some football for two games.

He should leave quietly and take his dreadful signings like Morgan and Montano with him.
Ihe has failed badly this season with very poor man management and signings.
And don't try and say injuries excuse him.

If Crocombe is good enough to give a contract to - then he should be good enough to play.
Stuff the loanee system - should never be allowed.

I would be surprised if they didn't ring up several clubs to see if they had anyone available. Doubt their first choice was an inexperienced 19yo but still don't think (on paper) they did badly

I think thats the point, no real thought in the loan. To be honest, I would have gone with Crocombe and stuck the loanee on the bench. He only arrived in Oxford last night so would have met the player at 1pm today?

I just find that hard to believe when there are so many other experienced keepers out there who arnt playing.
