Currently paying £1.30 a litre here in West Oxfordshire.
According to reports it will be £1.32 by the middle of next week (£6.00 a gallon!)
I think the old bicycle will be getting a dusting off, I'm sure the exercise will do me good.

£1.28 in Cheltenham. Anyone care to explain how the USA manage to keep their petrol prices so low in comparison to us?

Not taxed anywhere near as heavily I dont think?
Watching the petrol gauge go down in my car is f*cking depressing with prices as they are, considering cutting two holes in the bottom of the car and running it Flintstones style.

Not taxed as heavily in the US and generally speaking the quality of the petrol is not as good. The Yanks are moaning like crazy about petrol prices now but don't realise how good they have it.

I wish I could fill my tank for £1.39 cost me £50-61 to fill my Skoda Fabia with diesel. Around here in Hampshire I am paying £131.9 per litre. It pays to have a Shell Fuel Card and use an American Express Platinum card..You get half a percent cash back on all transactions. Also consider using Redex every other fill, I have checked and it definitely makes a difference
