I know its random thread - but just wondered if people had favourite songs from other clubs? Ever since watching Palace semi final's against Cardiff on the box (both legs) - I have had their song in my head. Skip to about 20 seconds in the video "We love you" song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FU4nTyI4afU&feature=related acoustics are amazing with the low roof at London Road.

Don't know what the exact words are, but the drawn out "on the p*ss" Villa song.
For me any song that goes on for a while.
Baffles me why Yellow Submarine never gets sung at home these days. It should be a staple ingredient of our match day experience.

That's pretty impressive! Two issues following Oxford away, although certain games we've been beyond reproach. First, difficult to get the whole away support involved (as Palace seemed to in that clip), and second, keeping it going (again, Palace did this well).

It should be a staple ingredient of our match day experience. I think Yellow Submarine would work if we made the words more catchy and didnt have a leader, just sang it as a slow anthem. Anyone willing to pen some TIMELESS words. Favourites would be obvious ones like Delilah and Bladon Races, but also like the Gas singing Goodnight Irene.

I absolutely hate that 'we love you' song. It's embarrassing and the words are utter crap. Some Oxford fans repeatedly try to get it going and I'm always quite glad when it falls flat and we get another song going instead. That said, one I like comes from Liverpool with the 'Maxi Rodriguez song'. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_3ztevG9e0.

"Ohh Liam, ohh Liam Davis runs down the wing for me..." I like the Ballotelli song City sing... www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwmbezutBUk

But when nobody even gives it a chance and laugh it off when people try to get it started, it's not going to sound good is it?

I know plagiarism is a dirty word in the world of football chants, but I would love us to come up with something for the Swindon game following Villas lead...

I was going to say the same, but that's 'Hymns and Arias', not 'Land of my Fathers' or as it's more commonly called, 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau'. They're two different songs and nobody ever really gets that!

Munster Rugby doing "Stand up and fight" is pretty awesome in Thomond Park.
Whenever I hear "The Fields of Anfield Road", I honestly pray that the Kop roof falls down on the scousers below, killing all of them.
The Cantona & Balotelli one's Junior put up are class.
Either way, atmospheres are dwindling as the crowds make way for quiet middle classes who don't understand the time honoured traditions of the tribalism. Us against them.

'On the ball City' at Norwich.
Any set of fans who can sing the immortal lines:
On the ball, City, never mind the danger, Steady on, now’s your chance, Hurrah! We’ve scored a goal.
And still keep a straight face deserve respect. Proper old school.

united!united!never hear it.And no more garry glitter. Glitters come on come on was great at the manor, but after what that c*nt did they will never play that again and rightly so, some if the right side tried to get some of the old Oxford songs going last Saturday which I found pretty funny, left side never joined in though

My personal favourite is "You're just a small town in Oxford" or similar directed at the scum

Forever and ever, we'll follow our team. We are Swindon, we are supreme. We'll never be mastered, by those Oxford bastards, we'll keep the red flag flying high, 'cos Swindon Town will never die. We'll never die, we'll never die, we'll never die, we'll never die, we'll keep the red flag flying high, 'cos Swindon Town will never die. That's quite a good one.
