Do we need 2 players on the posts? Yes. If they're taken away, we'll quickly realise just how vital they are. They won't be though, thank god. Do most prem teams just go with 1?

Unfortunately for us Clarkey's has been poor of late. If not its his fault for not coordinating his defence and getting a man front post. (He's still an incredible shot stopper)

(He's still an incredible shot stopper) Beav, I do take your point, but it's not a regular thing, it's 3 or 4 times over the past 2 or 3 months, assuming that every time we've talked about you've been right. Admittedly, that's not exactly good, but it's not poor either. And sorry, but the defence have to organise themselves mostly, there's not much a keeper can do apart from saying 'front post, back post' and 'mark up on -'. Position the wall maybe, but that's not been the source of our problems. I don't want to get into another argument about him again though, if it happens a couple more times soon I'll start to worry. It might be possible that premiership sides are comfortable enough in the box to not need 2 men on the posts (I've never really noticed that), but we aren't a premiership side, and the moment you take a man off the post the strikers have a much wider target to aim at. Risky business.
