Reading in the paper today that the guy who owns Wasps & Wycombe, has put Wasps up for sale because the Council have shelved plans to help them build a new 17,500 seater stadium.
I wonder if there is a chance that someone could buy Wasps, buy our ground, build the 4th stand & mover Wasps in?
Would probably be a cheaper option than building a new stadium from scratch (for Wasps)?

In principle, a decent idea. However look at the mess Stockport have got into after they started sharing their ground to Sale.
Plus the pitch will be an absolute mess come March.

I thought our pitch was supposed to be some sort of uber pitch which was more immune to getting trashed?

Egg chasing is shit though. Only once every 4 years does it seem OK. On second thoughts, the All Blacks vs some remote island is hardly an appetite whetter.

It's a bit unusual that there's no rugby of note in Oxford though, especially as most cities - particularly ones of Oxford's size - seem to have a professional rugby club. I'd have thought there's potential in Oxfordshire for a decent-sized rugby support as well.
