Yea it is a good read..
I can understand why the fans are upset, since Moyes has been in charge he's had a net spend of 2million.. And this year Crawley have outspent everton!! While the club are getting 50million a year from sky.
They do, however have a decent group of youngsters coming through, the likes of Coleman, Rodwell proves that investing more in the youth set ups rather than just on big name signings can have its plus sides.
I'd rather a club build up success internally rather than go ot spending hundreds of millions on big name superstars like Man shity, but then again it's an entertainment business so fans are always going to put pressure on if they don't think their club's investing enough

While the club are getting 50million a year from sky. Thing is - transfer spending can be a bit of a red herring. Simon Kuper wrote a great book (if you're a complete statto like me) called "Why England Lose", which showed that a much, much better indicator for success is a club's wage bill. And, more often than not, a club's wage bill is what is more likely to get them into trouble - see Portsmouth as a shining example...... If Everton are already spending 70% of their revenue on wages, their fans should stop complaining about their transfer spending being less than Crawley's. They're already spending what they can afford......and they shouldn't be spending big $s to get new players in without trimming what they already have.
