I wonder.................does the name 'Ka-Ka-Curse-him Stadium' itself actually put people off coming to the stadium? We know not owning the place doesn't help, but I reckon just that name alone is a major factor. Just imagine if it was called the Margaret Thatcher Stadium. Would that name put anyone off slightly? Would you all wince at the 'Football-Hating Tory Party Complex'? Just a thought.

The "Sky Sports is a waste of money" Stadium. I'd have to stay at home and hear that on Soccer Saturday

That would never get approved. It has horrible associations with Archie Bunker. Sent from my jungle drum Pardon my ignorance, Malcolm - wasn't he like Alf Garnett? I'll forgive you Dave. I was refering to the name Bunker. But of course Alf was a little Hitler, in looks and ideas.

If it does happen , it sure as hell won't be 2 years. More like 10 with planning, planning appeals. Build, delays and stuff

Build, delays and stuff With OCCC's history you would think that, but it'll be quicker as from what i've heard a sports complex is wanted, and Oxford needs housing and being forced to build by the government. Like i said just what i heard down the line...may be rubbish, but to me,not pie in the sky

When they had the leader of the county council on the radio the guy who suggested it and was really behind it, the leader of Cherwell said something about it not being right for the area and would need them to pass permission as it partly green belt

What about if we bought the ground in Thame? It's right next to the M40 (well, close enough anyway)

What about if we bought the ground in Thame? It's right next to the M40 (well, close enough anyway) Ok, let's buy the ground in Thame and then start to share it with the team it was originally intended for, doubling up the amount of games played on it ruining the pitch. Also we could add some things which let people know it's our home ground aswell as Thame Utds..... Let's do exactly what London Welsh have been so heavily abused for.... Makes it clear how ridiculous the abuse is to them I think....

The problem I have with egg chasing okay yahs playing ruggery buggery on our home pitch isn't so much the damage they do to the playing surface, but the mere fact that they are there and we don't own our f*cking football ground. I say 'football ground', because you say the words K***** Stadium, and you think of FOOTBALL being played there, primarily. I would share a ground with Tesco's parking lots if it meant we could say 'ta-ta' to the Sh*t Pit of a stadium that we have already. Oh, by the way. If anyone doesn't like me slagging rugby union off, bear this in mind; you mention football to RU fans and most of them will go: "Golly Gosh! Riff-raff football fans!" So bluddy there!

I would simply call it the ISIS Liable to see an American drone attack if we go with that name. I bet we'll be 2-0 up at the time too and match gets abandoned.
