Can I just say that I absolutely hate: Chelsea Ancelotti and Roman Abramovich, I hate these guys because they have ruined the quality of the English game by bring there dirty money in to this country. If Oxford were in the Premier League they would go into liquidation or worse go into the bottom tier of English Football. I wonder what it would be like if Chelsea, Man "hity, Notts County had no money. How have they managed to scoop themselves billionnaires. Portsmouth shouldn't be were they are but I hate Chelsea and every premier league team. The only romance that is in football is the Championship, Leagues 1 and 2. Loyalty and romance is dead. Money rules and politics have been brought into the game. Outrageous. I hope the big clubs go bankrupt. I will never see Oxford in the Prem. Some clubs certainly buy trophies.

I wouldn't want us to be in the prem in all honesty. I hope the Premiership crashes and burns and alot of greedy people go down with it too.

Lol, so the premier league was fine before Chelsea came along? They are all as bad each other, the top clubs that is.
Said it before, say it again - the premier league is not a story of goodies and baddies, only baddies.
But yes, it is a commercialised shower of shite. And nothing on that score is changing for the better in our lifetimes.
The question is though could we be in the premier league without compromising our principles, have say Blackpool managed to do that?

What principles?
Would love to see Oxford in the Premier league but doubt its ever going to happen. The only "principle" I would like to see us stick to if by some miracle we got promoted their would be to keep the ticket prices reasonable. Our ticket prices are about average for the division at the moment so its not really a principle is it.

Agree mostly with what you're saying except the bit on not wanting Oxford to be in the Premier League. Of course I'd love to see them back in the top flight, just like the 80's. That was some of the finest moments I've ever endured, all topped off by a certain day in April '86.
I would rather the FA came out first, and admitted that the Premier League is bad for football, and resorted back to the old style Division 1, but that ain't going to happen so long as they are filling their boots with wonga.

Football is simply more expensive than it was when we dropped down a level. Used to lower prices in the conference people are going to moan but that is simply the price of football these days. Going into league one and prices rise by at least 3-4 quid a ticket.
