In a strange, Baldy logic way though, the draw at Newcastle wasn't a good point. Bear with me.
Arsenal were 4-0 up after 26 minutes. And still 4-0 well into the second half. To concede 4 goals must really dent their confidence.
Man Utd had lots of possession and were going to lose a game eventually. They are still 4 points clear.

If Man Utd had won today, then they really would be in the driving seat.
But they have the Manchester Derby next week, play Chelsea twice (Torres will love playing Vidic) and Arsenal at the Emirates. They could lose all of those games. They could also win all those games, but at least it's still going to be interesting.

Congratulations to Wolves.
There were excellently defensively and created problems going forward too. Man U simply were not good enough with only one player, Rafael, turning up. Rooney was shocking and I'd have taken him off before Berbatov. They can make excuses about the pitch but that would be a lame excuse. The referee got most decisions right, it wasn't a penalty but he did get a big one wrong and that was the foul by O'Hara. That was a really poor challenge and how he escaped a yellow I do not know. That would have changed the course of the game undoubtedly but I'm not looking to make excuses - the right result prevailed.
My thread about Arsenal was more laughing at losing a 4 goal lead more than anything else. A point at Newcastle isnt that bad a result but the circumstances will have crushed them but theyve gained a point so its a bit closer. Both Arsenal and Man U will take a positive and negative out of the day with City certainly the winners.
I suppose today sums up just why the Premiership is the most watchable league on the planet.

Lol! Be a bigman and post bald? No danger of me not posting junior. I know I defend Man U to the hilt but I've always maintained I'm a gracious loser. Yes, I will make excuses for them from time to time butI dont think I have ever gone quiet on the back of them getting a DESERVED defeat. Where I might be misread is when theyve got a negative result on the back of some poor refereeing but when theyve been done fairly Ive never had a complaint .

Invincibles my arse.
To think you could make a comparison between this Man Utd team and the Arsenal invincibles is the biggest joke ever. Man U have never produced a team that could hold a torch to them.
Well done Wolves, just shows you can beat Man Utd when you don't give up before the match is played

Respect to you for coming on here Bald, and admitting defeat. This Premier League ain't over by a long chalk. Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea are dropping points they shouldn't really be dropping. I don't think anyone has played like the Arsenal invincibles of 2004, or the Man Utd treble winning team of 99, but this could be the most interesting and open Premier League for quite a while. I still wouldn't rule out Man City making a late charge with their expensive squad to add a bit spice. Bring it On!

Well done Wolves, just shows you can beat Man Utd when you don't give up before the match is played Man u have won 4 of the last 5 league titles moobs and are still on course to make it 5 out of 6, the one they didnt get they only missed out on by a couple of points. That is a much bigger achievement than one flukey unbeaten season followed up by 7 years (and counting) of not winning it. This man u team gets underated because they have been succesful for so long that they are held to a higher standard than the likes of Arsenal. I dont support man u but its fairly obvious to any neutral who has had the superior teams.

No disrespect Danny but don't all the previous matches this season give us more idea as to the success of Man U's transfer policy than one match? Yep, let's all applaud Danny. The mans a genius! no need for that just wish people would agree with me for once .
