Not a bad thing that those seats are empty at the moment as it should mean a big group can move over on the day. Been right at the top the last few weeks did the same for that week so one of those seats I already know about.
Gonna be a good'un.....

What is the starting figure?

Tickets remaining are all avalible tickets left from all stands on the online ticket site. I started with 4248, which was the number remaining on Saturday 29th January, after our last home game. Since then, 523 tickets have been sold (not including todays sales)

I make it that we have sold 5340 tickets so far (I may be 150 short according some fellow OCD sufferers on this forum) but whatever the figure is we have sold about 500 fewer tickets than up to the Wednesday evening before the Cheltenham game where we had 7168 home fans. For that game we sold about 250 on the Thursday and about 450 on the Friday. Sales for yesterday were about 80 down on the sales for the Wednesday before that game. At the moment I reckon the crowd will be just below the 7,000 mark.
I can't see Rotherham bringing as many followers as the 570 that Cheltenham brought to the Kastad. They are on a poor run with 2 wins, 1 draw and 5 losses in their last 8 games. Their away form is even worse with just one draw in their last 5 away trips! I am getting very nervous now but lets hope we can start our run to the play-offs in this game!
At the moment I am a bit disappointed witht the sales but I think there were lots of kids/parents from schools at the Cheltenham game and we were on a winning run then whereas we have not won since. Maybe we should remind everyone we know that there is only one home game in the whole month after this game.

So just remind me of the formula for this! I just had a look on the ticket site and it says there are 3534 left of a total of 12413, but obviously season tickets holders and the unused seats in the North Stand come into play with these figures?

These are the available seats in the areas allocated to home fans:
North = 1491 (Possibly about 1640 according to others) East = 2879 SSU = 2259 SSL = 2250 Total = 8879
Remaining = 3536 Sales = 5343
Are STs included = YES ;D

Interesting. Looking at a game like Burton at home at the end of March where you would imagine we haven't really sold many advance tickets yet, there are 'only' 813 more tickets available for this game, most of which (350) are in the SSL. So this would seem to imply that around 813 additional tickets on top of STs have been sold for Rotherham which I guess is about right looking at the above figures.

That is true McVicar and similar figures have applied all season. The club just announced that STs have just gone over 4,000 yet sales for the Burton game appear to be over 4500 so something does not add up. Maybe the club block out some areas for freebies/schools/Directors/NPower Competitions etc.

Sales still seem to be a little slow. 180 sold on Thursday (Cheltenham 260) and 183 today (similar to Cheltenham). 250 tickets were sold after 2pm on the Friday before Cheltenham so hoepfully the marketing will drag in at least those numbers.

By my calculations, we have sold 570 less tickets than the Cheltenham game at the same point. So i think the crowd will be around 6,500 tomorrow

Ultimate Support Saturday 2 is aimed solely at the atmosphere. Unlike the 1st one, there has been no attempt to increase the crowd, as some wanted to concentrate on the atmosphere

I hope the gate can be pushed up to 7,000.
The weather looks fine - no wind and should be good conditions. Home form is much improved and three points would be massive today.

Little bit disappointed with the crowd. Was hoping and expecting for about 7,000 home fans.
