I remember that well, talk about mixed emotions. From down in the dump to pure ecstasy in about ten minutes. I don’t think I’ve ever been so pleased to get a draw at home.

We were bloody awful in the first half, possibly the worst 45mins I have ever seen the club play. Didn't Portsmouth miss out on promotion by 1 point that season as well?

Remember this game very well. I didn’t leave before the end much before this game but did on the odd occasion-like everyone. Cannot remember leaving a game before the end ever since. I always think back to it and think what if.....even when we are 3-0! Blind optimism! Lol!

Goal difference, they lost to Leicester in the play off semi, who then lost to the scum in the final. So if we hadn't scored that equaliser,Pompey would have gone up,West Ham would have been in the play offs and the scum might never have played in the top flight. Pompey had to wait another 10 years before they got to the top flight.

If our current team were behind and chasing the game would they continue to keep possession and look pretty who would they go direct like we had to here?

You don't get wingers as direct as Chrissy Allen these days, watching footage of us playing at The Manor makes you realise how much you miss that place.....no better feeling than walking up towards the London road

I was there. I tell my mates about this being the most bonkers game I've ever saw. I mention to them that we were losing by 3 goals three times in the game, and somehow still managed to eke out a draw. The walk back the JR car park was interesting - I was grinning like a Cheshire cat, and ahead of me were three Pompey fans, who let's just say - weren't best pleased with what they just witnessed!

Paul Beasley asked on fan's view following Rotherham game when an Oxford game had 5 goals in first half? Here's one.

How can anyone forget this game. 5 mins from the end I was walking back to Pompey, as I came on a mini bus from my local. Glad I never actually did leave to walk home. Should of seen the faces of the dozen Pompey fans when they finally got back to the bus. It's 1 of 2 games that we always talk about in the pub. The other bring the game at Fratton when bloody Father Christmas ran on the pitch and They scored 2 goals in the lengthy injury time to win.

I just saw it shared on Facebook, and our ex keeper Paul Reece commented, which got me thinking about that Derby County game. Best OUFC goalkeeping performance ever?? youtu.be/kCCtR6YyLIA

Those three late goals were sweet revenge for the Father Christmas match.
