No mention in the article of Alan Knill being the mastermind behind Wilder's success.
I wonder if Phil McNulty, BBC Chief Football Writer, really did his homework or not.

"I have always given 100% for every club I've been involved in," says Wilder.
I can think of a period where he wanted to leave where he didn't do exactly that. LOL

Thought Baldock was quality again tonight. Was always amazed that their wasn't a queue for him when he was with us, for half a season he was perhaps the best attacking full back the fourth division has/will ever see, he was miles better than that level. He should be in the premier league.
Wilder has left any rivalry with us behind now and is himself looking destined for the top flight, you have to admire the team he has put together in just over a year, a team of British football league players assembled for not a huge amount of money that play good football but are ultra competitive/tough. Not certain how Wilder would fare in the prem, at best he would be a Pulis/Allardyce I suppose but I doubt he deep down has the self belief to do what's necessary to survive up there, his small man syndrome has made him an excellent FL manager but it would be his undoing in the limelight.
Still would much rather Sheff u go up than Wolves, they are a team we can at least relate to, even if they would have a brief stay.

He was quality, how on earth Philips wasn't sent off for the foul on him It was the worst tackle I've seen this season thus far, thankfully he appeared not to be injured.

Wilder has apparently taken 232 points from his last 107 league games, he will never have that sort of run again but to average 2.16 points a game over that amount of matches while also changing clubs and going up two divisions is phenomenal, shows how fucked up the manager situation in England is that a bloke can do that and still stand no chance of getting a job in the premier league other than get his club promotion.
