Plenty of very promising English players, and the U17's showed great resilience and character to comeback from being 2-0 down inside 30 minutes. Encouraging that at different levels we have so many good prospect for the senior England team, they need game time and plenty of it at Premiership and National level though. That's the problem.

Really enjoyed that. Cracking game and we look decent....that lad Foden....wow! He was brilliant - the trouble is if he can't dislodge the likes of Aguero he'll never become an established Premier League player and therefore never get into the England first team. That's how blinkered and commercially orientated the FA are I'm afraid!

Those lads deserve all the credit they will get. Unlike the senior team, they kept on playing at 2 down and their heads didn't go down. Hard work, endeavour and talent. A lot for the team to be proud of. I did laugh at Brewster's handshakes and how awkward the recipients were.
If Foden doesn't become a star, English football is more rotten than I thought.
